FOOD WAS AMAZING !!We were a table of 5 people. The service was good and very attentive. It’s a small location it’s a seat yourself restaurant and they bring you a menu and take your drink order they also serve chips and salsa if you ask . The servers and probably family members of the owners. Witch I love places like this.We had. Tacos -de asada, pastor and carnitas. And pupusas- revuelta, loroko and plain cheese. . Everything was so delicious, hot and arrived very quick. We ordered bottle drinks but I also ordered horchata witch we amazing also. The food tho was soooo good we even ordered to go to have food in our room to heat up if we got hungry later .So don’t judge by all the 1star reviews.Great place to get some bomb pupusas and tacos . They also had empanadas de plátano and nuegados !

We came in with very high hopes of a delicious authentic meal. Being Hispanic, we knew what we wanted and were very joyous to find a Salvadoran place in Virginia Beach. Nonetheless, for a pupuseria their pupusa meñu was sorely lacking. The waitress came in with a very bad attitude, was not paying attention to our order, and was not checking on us at all. Our orders came wrong and when asked what happened she simply said "oh sorry they must have mixed it up." Then did not offer to have it remade. Furthermore, the meat was very chewy and burnt, the rice was very hard and stale, the food came out cold and lacking seasoning, and the pupusas themselves were mediocre at very very best. Would never recommend .

one star just for the food because it was so good. but 0 stars for the service, I asked for a drink but they never gave it to me. until I ask them twice but when I had my drink I tried to order takeout but the lady just ignored me. I tried to call again but they didn't care. BAD SERVICE

FRAUDULENTLY CHARGING PEOPLE! My order should’ve been $30 and they charged me $47! Their excuse for robbing me was the menus are old and prices are different now. They also got an attitude with me because I wanted my money back. This place scams people. PLEASE check your bank accounts and double check prices. They will try to run a scam on you if you let them. Luckily I did get my money back after arguing back and forth I almost called the police.

The food is worth five starts it delicious. We tried baleadas, pupusas, camarones diablas all of which were wonderful. What is lacking this place is more attention to customer service. The waitress was you and more focused on her young male customers. No one out of the three waitresses asked if we needed more drink or anything else. My husbands and daughter food we brought out but mine and my sons took 10 minutes more.

Husband and I were looking for authentic Hispanic food in the area. We walked in and we not greeted at all. Waiting 10 minutes to be sat, even though they had plenty of seating. As soon as we sat down, server got our drink order, went and retrieved our waters, and took our order. She (and the other workers) then ignored us for an hour until our food came. The server who bought us drinks didn't even stop and ask if we needed anything. While we were being ignored we watched MANY other spanish speaking families come in and be served before us. Being in this restaurant made me highly uncomfortable. The staff made it very clear we were not welcome because we didn't speak their language or share the same ethnicity. Our food wasn't complicated.. Faijtas and carne asada tacos. My husband only received 2 tortillas 10 minutes after he received his fajitas. No one asked if we needed anything, so he wasn't even give the opportunity to ask for more. I requested no cilantro, even repeated myself 3x to have her understand I did no want cilantro and it came covered. (Photo below is an example of 1/4 tacos.Despite the sercice the food truly tasted wonderful.. Wish the service was better. My husband and I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone, nor will we be going back to this establishment.

Awesome south American food !!! It's Honduran but still very good !! A tad different from classical Mexican or Salvadoran dishes but still well worth it and not expensive. They have a grocery shop right next door as well.

The best pupusas I've had in years , I am Salvadoran American but I ha e moved to different parts of the USA and I am new to Virginia by far the best !

This has the best pupusas in Virginia. Hands down amazing. Tomales are great! Everything is good here!

amazing food...friendly service...
