Mediocore coffee but friendly staff. Store was not very busy at all but the wait time for a simple latte was still about 15 or 20 minutes (no exaggeration). I get that we are trying to save mother earth with using paper straws (depsite using plastic cups lol) but they were atrocious and fell apart. Atmosphere inside was quite nice. Would probably come back.
Pourfavor is a cute spot, and I love that they create an affirming environment with their rainbow flags and posted pronouns. Their coffee and baked good, however, are just not great. Their coffee tastes burned and weirdly sour, and for $5.00 for a small iced coffee, the price just does not match the quality. I'm surprised this is listed as an inexpensive coffee shop. Their breakfast sandwiches are flavorless and not super fresh, and cinnamon buns are soo dry. I left paying over $11 for a small iced coffee with a syrup (couldn't taste it at all) and a very small baked good. That is so expensive for a coffee that went straight into the trash. It's a shame because I live across the street and would be here all the time if the quality was better. Skip this place and just go to 17 Hands, which is so much better.
I have followed this coffee shop on IG for awhile and was intrigued with their coffee flights! When we went to Virginia Beach over Easter weekend I made sure we visited. Unfortunately my family of four arrived during a rush and weren't able to really look at all the offerings. But the girl taking our order was great and never acted like she was put out due to our sad ordering skills! And really I don't think we could have made any bad choices anyway. All of our coffees were great! It was a lot of fun to try a few different coffees that we wouldn't necessarily have tried! There are tables outside on both sides of the shop that make it easy to find a nice spot to relax!
i love the atmosphere and love to sit in the cafe. I ordered an iced oat milk (75 cents) latte with cookie butter flavor (50 cents) with no taste of any cookie butter. It was a good coffee and I drank the whole thing but I feel like it was going to be that much money it should definitely have more flavor to it. The pesto chicken sandwich was good i love pesto but it seemed like the chicken was microwaved so it was very overpriced. I liked the guava pastry as well but it was mostly pastry and not much guava. I will definitely be back however to try something else.
Went to pour favor on Sunday with my fiance and we enjoyed our experience. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and he ordered the BLT the Puerto Rican bread thatit came on was so delicious, perfect blend of sweet and salty. Then I ordered the chocolate covered strawberry mocha which I loved and can't wait for the next time I can order it. My fiance had the iced caramel apple latte which he also enjoyed but wished that the apple flavoring was a little stronger.
great coffee and atmosphere. The staff is very friendly as well. Had to take a star off because they love keeping the front door open, no matter what time of the year it is. it's 30 degrees in January. my legs and feet are cold. I've had to leave early because it gets too cold in here for me. but great coffee! just gotta wear long-johns next time
Excellent coffee. Strong, flavorful and rich. Good place to fellowship with good people.I didn't have food but my friends order the avocado toast and the cuban and both looked delish!!
Very nice coffee shop. The inside is very welcoming, has a restroom and community board. The staff provide excellent customer service are very nice and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable $3-5 range depending on what you get. Espresso was smooth and strong!
my boyfriend and i went and it was incredibly crowded. took us an hour to get our drinks but i don't fault the workers for that because there were only like two people working. we got a pumpkin cheesecake, an oreo cheesecake brownie and the thanks a latte coffee flight. all were amazing and worth the wait. hope they can find more workers.
What a gem! Took a friend here and we enjoyed the delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I love that the Puerto Rican bread is made in house!! Staff was very friendly, courteous and answered all my questions. The space itself is nice with great artwork, comfy seating and lots of books to read. I can’t wait to come back.
