We ordered a small veggie tray, ham sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, lumpia, tea & lemonade. It was delicious! So convenient and great prices!!
I had gone there on June 25, on a Sunday with a friend after 2pm. The manager, Alicia a young African American lady had an attitude towards my friend. Even the atmosphere had a bad vibe. My friend didn't like the presentation of the food and inadequate customer service from the manager. After she requested for her money, we left to eat at the 717 South Battlefield location. I had never been to that location. Great food, service, and clean.
Pollards used to be an okay place to eat. Now it's a joke. Don't eat here. They do not care what so ever. Unwelcoming. Unfriendly. The kitchen is disgusting. Ordered a two piece meal w/ two sides and it took like 15min. And, they forgot one of my sides and I had to go back in. They weren't even busy, two other people in the resturant. They gave me an old crusty roll and one hot and one cold piece of chicken. Kfc is much better and it's fast food. I wonder if the owners eat at their restaurants? Looks like food borne illness in that kitchen.
Always have to wait at least 10 minutes for the order. Ordered 2 half chicken dinners tonight only to find we received two leg quarter dinners. Not worth driving back to correct it. Only went here twice, but no more. Disappointed overall. Will not be back. Too many other places that deserve our business.
I love the chicken at Pollards and the side items. The problem is the Customer Service is AWFUL. !!! The female who waited on me today acted like I was bothering her, rolled her eyes and had one of the male employees to respond and wait on me ? . I will be going to another Pollards Chicken !!…. The Customer Service at College Park drops the food rating to a 2 Star .7/1/22
Don't really want to give them no star. Went inside placed an order for 8pc dark. Got home I had 2 wings, 1 breast, 1 drumstick and 4 very little thighs. It was hard and not seasoned. Overpriced compared to other chicken places. My family was very disappointed. I will NEVER go there again.???
Pollards is a staple of fried food in the Southside Hampton Roads, they do offer better than average fried chicken if you had to choose between them and any of the standard chain joints. The College Dr, Ballentine and Witchduck locations are the best of the various locations, not to say the others aren't go just different. If you blood pressure is good to go then give them a few bucks and enjoy the crispy deliciousness.
Very disappointed...portions small and over priced. Will not return. I will say staff was nice.
The cashier was nice and professional the food was really good
The food was delicious. I also especially enjoyed the Sweet Potato Pie!
