Worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. The beans were so disgusting my friend and I didn't even eat them. And we had a coupon for $5 off that didn't even save us money. The bill originally came to $43 and change and after they took off the coupon it came to $49 ? That makes no sense to me, especially considering the food was garbage. I would not recommend going to this location.
With so many options for Mexican around here, this Plaza Azteca was nothing memorable. The food was decent and prepared well just nothing Special. And who puts lemon lime soda in Margaritas???? #&%[email protected]^. Service tonight seemed forced, staff was not very friendly... I Typically like Plaza Azteca, but this particular location has not impressed me on either of my visits...
We came here on a Monday night because we thought it would not be busy which was the case, but our food was aweful and we’ve eaten here in the past I don’t really know what happened. Everything we eat tasted like they poured a container of salt on it and I was still tasting softly next morning. I had a quesadilla and something tasted wrong even with the tortilla itself. My wife had a chicken dish instead of being a piece of chicken breast cut up it was all these little chicken balls and she ordered hers with the mixed summer vegetables and instead they brought fajita vegetables which was not even offered as the menu item she ordered. The had to change them. When they were brought out they lasted like they were just microwaved not cooked or sautéed. The whole dish was absolutely an edible and my wife sent back and just ate some of her rice and beans. The only thing that was a very distance with the guacamole it’s really hard to ruin that and that was decent. I don’t know what happened to this place but will never go back there again. Our waiter couldn’t didn’t seem to communicate, his English is so lacking couldn’t even handle taking our order. Afterwords the manager said he was new. For me that doesn’t cut it and he should be walking around with another server getting trained
Nine people in our group and not a long wait for a table. The waitress had a slow start about things but jumped up the speed quickly. Great selection of items on the menu. Changed our minds a couple times because of all the choices. Food came out quick enough. Munched on chips & salsa till then. Plates came out correctly. Food was fresh & warm. Very tasty too. I tried the vegetarian enchalada plate. Loved the veggies in it. Fresh, perfectly roasted, and tasty. Great choice! Cleaned my plate. Would recommend!
Usually I have a great experience when I go to this location, but the last time was a little disappointing. I called in an order and I went to pick it up and there was a long wait. The reason for the long wait, is because the recorded my name wrong. Which meant my food was ready, but it sat getting cold, even when I inquired about the status. When they finally realized the error, they wanted to give me the order eventhough it had been sitting and getting cold. I asked for them to redo my order and it seemed like it was going to be a problem, like I was being complicated. The say they redid my order, but when I got home is was still cold and I live less than 2 mins from restaurant. The only thing that was right was my drink. I would have taken it back but it was late and I was frustrated. Not to mention i made sure to leave a tip, for horrible service. Definitely a lesson learned!!! I guess I'll have to find a new restaurant for mexican.
I ordered food from 1824 laskin rd more commonly known as plaza aztecaI found a ROACH!!! On the top of my food after being sickened by what I saw I immediately ran the food back up there and alerted them of this issue I took pictures I can provide you with they tell me they have been trying to get this pest issue under control then proceeded to give me a 20 dollar gift card and told me sorry DAVID AND MIGUEL ARE THE CONTACTS me and my wife spoke to now I’m sick
Probably the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I've eaten from here twice, once through carryout and once dine in. Both times the food has been bland and overpriced. The birria tacos taste like the flavor has been boiled out of them, the fried ice cream is doused in chocolate to mask the blandness of the ice cream, and the margarita was nothing but syrup. 3 birria tacos and a margarita was $33. Unacceptable pricing with that kind of quality. They do offer military discount.
Our food is always AMAZING!!! Hot, fresh and always tastes great and our server Damon was awesome, we didn't have to ask for refills, extra napkins, or anything. He was very attentive....an awesome experience every time we have dinner there.
Love the food here, love the margaritas and mojitos. The best drinks around here. Love the customer service, the guys at the bar are great!
Great food but after ordering waited almost 45 minutes just for the guacamole as an appetizer right before food came out. My gf and I are pretty sure the waitress forgot we were there
