I have worked in the restaurant industry at very nice, farm to table restaurants for 7 years. I've lived in Texas and spent months of my life in Mexico, where great Mexican food and Tex-Mex are easy to find. This location in particular (I've been to several in the area) is the one I always come back to. The servers are always quick, kind and helpful. The food is always amazing and extremely fast. I absolutely love the Super queso! This particular visit we had Victor taking care of us and he was fantastic. Thank you Plaza Azteca for always providing an A+ experience. Bonus kudos to whichever manager has a Tesla outside, as a fellow Tesla owner ?
My wife and I had our 2nd great experience here. Aside from the food being excellent, the music was also fantastic. I've created a whole new playlist on spotify from 3 shazamed songs. THERE WAS AN AWESOME STREET MAGICIAN going from table to table, I don't know if he's there regularly but he us surely welcomed by me. We had enchiladas appetizer, corn on the cob, seafood chimichanga and nachos al pastor.....nachos were amazing
Just stepped out of the restaurant! We just wanted a quick soup and a fresh guacamole. The server gave us wonderful, friendly service! Gave the chicken broth with grilled mushrooms in it!! Yummy combo!! Also loved the fact that we could have the soup without rice! The soup was fresh, home made and delicious!! This is the second Azteca location that we have tried!
I am sooooo disappointed!! I went to eat on cinco de mayo and the waitress and manager was rude! I received my food cold..but my plate was hot..but when I told them my plate was cold..my plate was taken to remake and they brought bake the same exact plate but added cheses sauce which I didn't want or ask for! The manager's rudely said he was going to take it off my bill! All I wanted was hot food! I gladly would have ordered something else and paid for it!! So after waiting 35 to 40 min to get a table..now I have no food..which is very disappointing on my favorite holiday!!! So go to another Plaza Azteca location because this one's customer service sucks!!!
My husband and I (in our 60s) have been going here for years now and had always been extremely happy with food and service. Last night my husband called in a pick up order and the gentlemen who answered was Very Rude. My husband was , and always is , nice and polite. When he went to pick up our order he noticed that the bill was unusually higher than normal so inquired about the price of a couple items. The Manager, who was the person who had answered the phone, and was at the register became unpleasant and began RANTING and RAVING at my husband calling him a cheap, broke (such and such-not worth repeating) We are FAR from it , and have always tipped well , and had an excellent repore with this establishment. My husband put a tip down on the counter and the man THREW it at him. He then followed my husband out to the parking lot Still RAVING like a madman. One of this mans employees had followed him to the lot and was telling the manager to go back inside. ( Now , at 5'6", 155lbs, and a Jehovahs Witness Im certain this 6'1", 220 lb manager was being intimidated because someone questioned an increase in food cost. REALLY?) Outrageous! If I had been there I would have called the Police. In this country , throwing something AT someone is Assault, and chasing a customer outside hurling insults and expletives is considered intimidation.) We will NEVER return to this restaurant! BEWARE ALL The man is CRAZY
I usually love Plaza Azteca, but I wouldnt recommended the baha fish tacos. They taste poorly made, like some frozen fish fillets put in a tortilla, with a little lettuce and sauce. Not good quality. The beans and rice were good. I won't get this entree again however. Edit: eating one of these tacos, I felt sick to my stomach. Had to trash them. There goes my $18.00 ☹️
I love this place! I've been there twice and I must say that I am very pleased not only with the food but with the customer service! I was greeted immediately when I walked in and the guys there were very nice and polite. The establishment itself was very nice and had a really nice atmosphere. The wait time was not long at all! I loved that! Now the food is just phenomenal! I love the fact that they have quite a few vegan options! I've had the vegan burrito and the vegan bowl. So much flavor, I love it! I will be dining here again.
Our family had a terrible tragedy happen, and the Plaza Azteca reached out and helped our family. We are so grateful for people in this world that stand with people suffering. On top of that, their food was absolutely delicious!The fajitas are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! So flavorful, and juicy..the right combination of meat and veggies. Their rice is one of my favorites. The white sauce is the right amount if spicy and peppery.I highly recommend you try this restaurant! They will not disappoint!
The food was delicious. However, the service could have been much better. I ordered a veggie fajita to go and when I got home I noticed there was beef in the meal. I called to speak to the manager to request a refund because I lived 15 miles away. While I was speaking to the manager he asked for my card information. I asked him if he was writing down my information and he said, “yes.” I asked him if he could make sure he destroyed my information when he finished. It concerned me that he wrote my information down instead of issuing my refund over the phone. He was very rude and proceeded to tell me that he knows how to do business, he has been in business for over 20 years. I was not questioning his years of business, I just wanted to make sure my information would not be compromised. He could have just said he would make sure he destroyed my information. I am sure everything will be taken care of, he just could have handled that conversation a little better. I will be checking my account as I always do, but I shouldn’t be concerned that my information is compromised nor should I be worried if my refund will be taken care of.Also, as an FYI for the business. If you are going to serve vegetarian meals, make sure there is no meat in the person’s food. My husband can not eat meat at all. It will make him sick.Edit: In response to the owner, I will do you one better. I will cancel the entire charge on my card and you can talk to my credit card company. My husband and I will be there with the entire un eaten meal. I tipped our waiter handsomely and this is how you respond??? Why wouldn’t you refund my order prior to destroying my card information? I told you I live 30 mins away and this is how you treat paying customers? You compromised my information and won’t issue a refund? I hope people see this and understand why they shouldn’t patronize your business.
Service was ok.We were never offered condiments.Food was good for the price, but could use more seasonings.
