This is the best pizza in VA Beach! Their buffalo chicken is one of the best I've ever had! This place makes you wonder what everyone else is doing wrong. Order takeout and take it to the boardwalk for a meal you won't regret! My only criticism is that there's not much family-friendly seating. It's current ambiance is what gives it a lot of its character, but, I would love to maybe see a second location where the whole family can dine in and enjoy.
Wow oh wow! This is some of the best, if not the very best, pizza I’ve ever had. But the garlic knots were so good others cannot begin to compare! Go ahead & get the order of 12 because you’re gonna want them! Great service too!
I want to start by saying the food was amazing. My family came to virgina beach to celebrate my graduation from nursing school. After a long day at the beach we ordered from pizza chapel after seeing the pictures and great reviews. As I said the food was great but the atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable. I was the only person of color in the restaurant and when I walked in to get the food nobody spoke to me. I walked up to the hostess station to see where I was supposed to go to pick up orders because it's not clear and as she saw me coming she walked away. I went and stood at the bar and again nobody said it word to me as I tried to figure out how to pick up my order. Finally the hostess walked back over and asked where to pick up my food and she sent me back to the bar where the bartender finally said oh you're picking up a to go order and went to grab my food. We were going to eat our food outside at the picnic tables and then go out for dessert on the but the environment was so unfriendly that we opted to eat in our car in an adjacent parking lot instead. I was going to walk out and not spend my money with them but my kids were hungry and had their heart set on that pizza smh.
Delicious pizza at this place! Not every place can get it right but oh they did. I would be in huge trouble if I lived close by.
Even tough very crowdy, service was excellent thanks to Heather. Greek salad was delicious, the wings and pizza were outstanding !
What they they lack in customizing, they make up for in using the best ingredients. REAL GOUND BEEF! Not some dog food approximation of beef, REAL GROUND BEEF! The taste and presentation was nothing short of perfect.
THE BEST pizza in Virginia Beach! Hands down! We used to always go to Sal's but after trying Chapels just once, we never looked back! Their garlic knots are to-die-for and our favorite pizza of theirs (though they're all good) is the Bianca Rosa with sausage. The fact that they're in walking distance is the icing on the cake! It's tucked away and I would've never known it was back there unless I had seen it on Google but it's truly a must try. You won't regret it!
VERY hard to find this place!!! Tried two times in the past... but I guess the third time is the [email protected]@!Really good food. Prepared fresh and full of flavor. Great drinks and the staff were welcoming.
Great pizza. Best wings ever. We had the old bay ones and garlic parm. They were perfect.
Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to pizza. I prefer a pie with a savory sauce and generous toppings but not too much. While the taste profile of these pizzas is pretty good some flavors (buffalo chicken) are way too strong and the pizza is "heavy." That said, many in my party really enjoyed the pizza and go back regularly.
