Fantastic place, and service with a smile.I do Doordash and get orders here. And every time, I'm greeted kindly, they keep the food and cold drinks stored so it's never cold, or melted, and they're very quick and communicative.If you ever want to order food for pickup, this place will take good care of you!
My Grandfather Fredrick Brooks "Quiong Nnuoc" had taken us here for many years. He spoke fluent Vietnamese (even for a bald white man yes!) and it was always such a good time coming here with him, lots of laughs!!!He spoke so highly of the Pho here and got so many people to come and enjoy the food. SO MANY!I think taking people here to lunch was his love language.He always mentioned how incredibly authentic and well made everything was.He recently passed and it's but left an incredible hole in our hearts, but we actively support this restaurant and we tell everyone about it too. And you should as well!It's bittersweet and sometimes hard going in without him. But we know he wants us to keep going and enjoying the food and great service.?
I’ve been going to this gem for a whole year once a week. I’m literally addicted to this amazing restaurant they have the best pho in Virginia Beach. They’re absolutely great polite people working at pho 78 that treat you like family. The food is very high quality very delicious!! MUST TRY!!
My family adores this restaurant! It is rare to feel like a part of the family when you enter a place but the owner and his staff make us feel truly loved and appreciated every time we visit. My go to order is Number 29 (the beef stew with egg noodles and carrots) and the shrimp spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce. It arrives at your table quickly and is so fresh! I crave this all the time! I should have written this review long ago since I have been going here for years. After dinner, we like to pop into Cool Stuff next door for another special treat if you enjoy gaming/movies of any kind. Enjoy!
Got a hot coffee and it was fantastic. It was an espresso shot over sweetened condensed milk. So good!
No No No!!!No Thai tea refills, the only beverage you can get a refill on is sweet or unsweet tea. If you'd like to take one to go, there is a separate charge. Our waiter was more like a rude security guard who dislikes outsiders.The soup was luke warm, bland, and the noodles were hard.
Fast service and food are always Delicously made. Also The owner is so friendly and the place is very clean !! Love eating here w family and friends
