My wife and I ate at the Kempsville Outback tonight. The slow roasted prime rib was cooked to perfection and just melted in our mouths. The clam chowder was absolutely on point. (I’m salivating just reflecting on what I ate.) But best of all was the service. It is rare nowadays to come across a kind, helpful, positive, thoughtful, and hard working waitress who serves with a smile. Thank you so much JENNA for making our dinners memorable. We will definitely be coming back for the prime rib, chowder, and a table in your zone.
Just want to share my outstanding experience last night! I ordered a meal over the phone last night for pick up and the food was delicious.. There was hardly a wait. The food was hot and cooked precisely to my liking. Mike Jarrad is amazing!! My family and I have known him for years and he has always accommodated us and made sure we were happy with our meals. I had a to go order. It's really hard to check your food in the car. I get home and my lobster tail is not in the bag and my husband's 4 ribs with his meal were missing. I call and sit on hold for 9 minutes. I talked to a supervisor, I believe Christine. I tell her what items are missing and she questions how that's possible since the ribs and lobster tail are in separate boxes... I have no idea. Ask your staff. I told her my husband's box would have only had his steak in it but they put a baked potato from my meal in his box. She refunded me $30 but the whole situation was a bust. I used to order very often and stopped because of this exact issue. Double check the ticket. It's not that hard. When you charge $90 for 2 meals and a kids meal, I do expect it to be right and not questioned about why what you were supposed to put in the bag, was not in the bag...OK.
The food is amazing! My favorite is the coconut shrimp.
Hey everyone....so I had a really good time here. The food was hot and came out the kitchen quick. Also our server Toni was great she definitely gave the best customer service I've ever had at outback steakhouse. Two thumbs up??. Great service + great food that's what we call a win win folks. Stellar Outback location. Food was fantastic as usual and the service was impeccable. Angela (I hope I got that right) waited on my family and she was phenomenal. Didn't have to ask for drink refills and she was very patient with my father who can be quite particular and specific with food.Only areas for improvement would be to have y'all front glass doors covered with some type of sun difusing film. Not sure how the host stand is able to work with light beaming right into their eyes.Definitely recommend this place! Parking is a little challenging in this area so be careful.
Very good food and service. This is one of my favorite Outback restaurants.
