Had take out at 9 pm last night. The young lady customer service was spectacular! All the food was hot, fresh, and delicious! We ordered veg spring rolls, cucumber salad, salt & spicy squid, mongolian beef noodle, shrimp fried rice, fried pork shrimp leek dumplings..All the food was tasty & yummy...Thanks Noodle Man!!!!!
Great noodle joint, quick, tasty, not too expensive. Get the egg. About ~$15 before tip.Tip your waitress!
I went here for the first time on Sunday, and I fell in love. The food was amazing: all ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked. I also loved how the customers are able to watch the cooks prepare the noodles from scratch. And the meals were reasonably priced, considering the inflation. The customer service was wonderful, too, which is unfortunately rare these days. I loved it so much, and I'll definitely be visiting here again sooner or later ? I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
I had checked out the reviews, asked around and everyone was right, Noodle Man is FANTASTIC! Small and personal location on N Independence in VB is great for a (ful)filling bowl of unexpectedly layered and savory soup that may not be ramen...but ramen has met it's nemesis! Every noodle was fresh, in the bowl and wrapping the amazing pork wontons in chili oil.The wontons deserve much more praise than you might expect. Fresh wrap is like heaven, and with the chili oil and seasonings it is SO FRIGGIN good! Lastly, the texture.is.on.point! This appetizer has no business being so dynamic, engaging on a sensory level, and delicious.The shrimp app was damn good too. Sauce was fairly standard, but the shrimp was prepped and cooked perfectly. Well worth getting again.I had the Tomato and Brisket soup as recommended by the wait staff (and added some soup oil from the table later). My god there was so much going on! Beefy, smooth, green onion hints, cilantro, bok choy, sesame and more lays in your tongue and soaks into each bite of those perfect noodles. I was going to have half and bring home leftovers...well you see from the pictures how that turned out LOL!Must have. Must go. Will enjoy!
The food here is phenomenal! I usually get the chicken noodle stir-fry with bean sprouts and mushrooms and it is so savory and delicious I could die. The pan fried pork & shrimp dumplings are done perfectly every time. One of the best things about ordering takeout here is it is usually done in 15 minutes or less. I'm picky about Chinese food places in this area but here and Jade Garden are about the only places I order from anymore!
Absolutely delicious! The first time I came here, which was a couple years ago, I came with a friend who is from the part of China where this meal originated; she literally sat there and wept as she talked about how much this reminded her of home. If that isn't a positive review then I don't know what is. The food is always delicious, noodle consistency is great, and the service is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend eating here and enjoying authentic Chinese food. Don't forget to have the crab wontons! They are amazing!
Very tasty noodles, and I love how you can watch them make the noodles while you eat! The food was good and came out fast, but it is a little bit packed in the building. I would definitely recommend going here!
This place deserves every star it has. The food is great. Tasty and authentic. Like actually authentic. if you’ve been to Din Tai Fung. You can expect similar flavors in a casual atmosphere. What absolute sealed the place for me was the wait staff here. Three ladies, each one of them so attentive and nice. All while running around doing ten tasks a piece, and seating tables. They’re killin it. Thanks noodle man and staff. We’ll be back and recommend for sure.
The service here is always great. The food is equally just as good. And of course being able to see the chefs hand-making the noodles and foods adds a level of entertainment to your meal that just cannot be found anywhere else. This is certainly a unique place that is definitely worth checking out if you're ever in Virginia Beach
Way too long wait times. Started with a one star but moved to two star because food is good. If you order from here give yourself time is small and the staff is usually overwhelmed. If you order takeout give yourself tons of time it too almost an hour to get my simple sour and appetizers out. Do yourself a favor and plan to eat In because they bump takeout in priority it seems. They started Turing away take out orders at 6 pm which is baffling. Need better leadership ASAP.
