I don’t know why I don’t give this 5 stars. I suppose because it is really “no frills”. A good selection of basic food. One buddy got the grilled chicken BLT which was ample and reportedly tasty. Another friend got grilled salmon - also reportedly good but less ample. I had a huge crispy chicken burrito. I would get it again. More than I could eat with all the sides. Recommended for a simple, casual lunch. Shannon did a good service job in a very hectic environment.
I ordered the crab eggs Benedict. Overall, the food was prepared and presented well. I needed extra hollandaise and some salt. The fruit was fresh and ripe. The crab was shredded but a decent amount - not fishy at all.
Horrible service and food The owner had to open the locker Beer cooler for a beer However he ws the cook also so we waited 45 minutes for a beer and 2 hours for the horrible foot Ogden Utah NO NOT GO THERR
OUR SERVER ANTHONY MADE THE VISIT A NICE EXPERIENCE!!! I walk with a cane and he asked whether I wanted a booth or a table first, then he was truthful when we asked him questions about the menu and the drinks! My daughter got the chicken nachos and I got the philly steak sandwich; the nachos were plentiful and looked and tasted good, but the philly steak was a huge sub roll with a little bit of meat in it and tasted plain, so Anthony offered me something else with no charge! (We later saw another man with a philly sandwich that had the meat falling out, so I guess they had cooked more or I hope that's what it was!)We ordered 2 Mermaid Lemonade drinks and all you could taste was the alcohol, so it wasn't very good even though it looked good! The people were nice, but we probably won't come back again!
The food , service, atmosphere is excellent. The place is nice . I got the funky Chickwn Salad and my partner got the salmon salad, everything was full of flavor , and absolutely fresh. The grilled chicken was juicy and the portion was generous. Will be coming back. Definitely a recommendation here
The hummus Platter was solid. Plenty of fresh veg and hummus for everyone at the table.I really liked the grilled chicken pita. It was a so fresh, so packed with meat! I was especially fond of the sauce they put on it.I'm from New Jersey, and based on the outside, I was expecting a diner-diner. This is not the case. It's much more refined then a diner.The menu and freshness of everything was a pleasant surprise. I recommend.
I got the turkey sandwich! Waitress was nice! Clean it was ok but the chili with the corn bread was excellent!! Came for lunch with hubby for his birthday
This place deserves more than 5 stars! I do not say that about many food places, but this place was found by accident and a good accident at that. Searching for food nearby simply for lunch landed us here. Busy, but thats always a good thing to me.Locals eat at places that are good. Being busy means its got repeating customers and a good word of mouth reach. This place was packed at 2pm, but we got a table pretty quickly.The food sizes and portions here are outstanding. The food is even better than the portion sizes. The only thing i was sad about was when i finished eating my food, which i barely got fully down before i could eat anything else.Chicken tender meal, mushroom burger and fries, and a po boy sub in the photos. please eat here, you'll be happy you did!
What a great name and a great place. I'm a meat-eater. However, I will definitely get the vegetarian nachos next time I go. Check out my photo of it. Looks good and tastes good. We sat down immediately on a Friday night at 8 pm so I was quite happy with that. The waitress (can I call her that without getting canceled?) was awesome so she got a 25% tip EZ!! Had the short ribs, expected them on the bone, but thats my ignorance, the gravy on them was A++ - get that gravy on the potatoes!! Drinks were fine and I'm happy I went. Parking is a Breeze!!
