Ok, I am probably the most discerning diner you will ever meet, I have literally traveled all over the world, and have dined in thousands of restaurant, and Mizuno is absolutely the best restaurant ever, regardless of genre of menu.....this restaurant absolutely demonstrates a tireless desire to provide the very best, it is very obvious that they painstakingly select all ingredients to be the best available ....the dishes are all constructed perfectly. You will find nothing better, period.The service is exemplary and exceedingly well trained. They are knowledgeable, pleasant, and extremely polite.Those of us that live in Virginia Beach should consider ourselves fortunate to have this gem of a restaurant at our fingertips. You can travel worldwide and the best is still right here in Virginia Beach.

We have loved Mizunos since it first opened. Sushi is a favorite meal for us and we have eaten in sushi restaurants throughout the country. Mizunos remains the best and our favorite sushi. Walter and company are excellent.
The food at Mizuno is always delicious. Our server was pleasant, kind and attentive. However, our hostess was very short and seemed annoyed by our presence - I also had said we were there for a birthday celebration on the open table reservation and it was not acknowledged by anyone.
Loved our server. We started at the bar with her and she also served us in the restaurant. Very friendly and outgoing, but also very attentive to our table throughout the meal. Food is always great also.
