Feel like if you don't like this place you're a traitor to America because of all the patriotism in their marketing but it's not amazing. It's just kinda a fast food chain. I saw all the ratings and high review score and thought this was an authentic BBQ smoke pit / shack but it's just a strip mall chain. Brisket was dry af. Rest was basic. On a positive note the staff were awesome. Good people.

Father's day and we were able to walk in, place our orders, enjoy our delicious food in their outdoor seating area. Brisket was perfect! We ordered both options. Collard greens were excellent. Mac n cheese was fresh, and the coleslaw well... just an amazing meal. The establishment was CLEAN, Welcoming and the customer service just made it even better! Thank you for providing us with a great Dinner! No picture because everything was devoured ?
Many types of meat and sides. Food was very good and plentiful in a fast-casual atmosphere. We enjoyed trying the different variety of sauces with our meal.
The food here is so good! The brisket is tender and flavorful, and the mac, green beans, and baked beans are made right and delicious. It is pricey here, but absolutely worth it. The people working here do a great job too, they work quickly during a busy rush without compromising the quality of the food. I also like how a nice little smoky smell greets you on the way in. This spot is a nice treat to splurge on every once in a while.
Visited for the first time in Chesapeake, VA. Delicious food and great staff! I'm hooked on the Smoky Mountain sauce. Need to take some of that sauce home with me. Hopefully you sell it by the bottle.
In town from Florida, so it was my first visit, Good food, like the rustic atmosphere, will definitely return
$45 for two people was surprising. Sliced brisket sandwich was big portions, a little dry but nothing some BBQ sauce couldn’t fix and they have a lot of options. Wife had the chopped brisket, was moist and full of flavor. Clean area, always had someone checking in on us.
My Husband and I ordered carry out on February 8th around 6pm. The service was awesome from start to finish. The staff there at this particular location that night had THE best sense of humor. My husband jokingly claimed harassment as Meg (cashier) and I were enticing him to get the blueberry cobbler. He very much enjoyed his blueberry cobbler. The rest of our dinner was Super delicious. Thank you Meg, KP and the rest of the Mission BBQ team, you all made our entire night!
The BBQ @ Mission BBQ is always delish. My Granny recently moved here from Oklahoma where the BBQ is top notch. Someone suggested some other rib place and it left something to be desired. Having been to Mission BBQ several times before I knew this what what the BBQ Dr. ordered. So the next day for lunch we took Granny to Mission BBQ and let's just say Mission accomplished! Not only did they serve up great BBQ but we even got some blueberry cobbler for Granny's birthday. The cobbler was awesome, the friendly people at Mission were awesome, the BBQ was awesome and so was our experience. Granny now has a new favorite BBQ joint and you have a customer for life. Thanks to all the great people @ Independence Blvd. and Pocahontas Village in Virginia Beach.
Great food. I got this the day before Thanksgiving, since they would be closed for the holiday. They were not packed and it was a quick in and out pick up, web order.The employees were working hard and fixing a lot of food.Meal was great, the only thing was they didn't have stewed apples because it was seasonal, so they gave me bread pudding, which I don't eat. I wish they would have had a disclaimer on the website, so I knew they wouldn't have it. I would have ordered something.
