We went for dinner for our anniversary on May 30th. The food was good but not great. Our waiter had only our table and one other. We ordered from the a la carte menu. When the waiter brought our food out, we had to ask for extra plates because we were sharing, which we had already said. He should have known to bring extras; it was common sense. He seemed annoyed and came back with one plate. He never checked on us once after that. My husband spent the last 5 minutes of his meal with an empty glass. We couldn't even get the check. We had to go pay up front. I left a 10% tip but only because I waited tables for years. Save yourself the aggravation and go to the competition.
This used to be my Favorite Mexican restaurant for years. And for that reason alone, I still go. However, I think the amount you get per serving has decreased, and the quality. The service is rarely exceptional, But with that being said my last visit here was one of the best as far as service. That's the reason it got its 4th star this time.
I had the beef Molcajete. Absolutely delicious! My partner had a seafood enchiladas and was delicious as well. I've passed the place dozens of times but never visited until tonight. The crowd was really small for a Friday. We will definitely be back!
Me and my partner have come consistently over the last 3 years to Mi Casita food was great at first but our past visits have longer gaps between them because flavor and quality of food have gone down. I understand supply chain issues are prevalent, but our other favorite spots standards in quality have not gone down. If I could give a lower score I would, hate to say it. It is not recommended to eat here, other spots like Jessy’s, La Herradura, and Plaza are still pumping out food meat at the same quality as ever.

Very laid back quiet spot during my visit. I got a taco salad, and my bestie got the muenudo- (which was very awesome for them to be willing to make as the menu had it listed as weekends only), we split a bean dip, and a xango & ice cream. All were tasty and prepared fresh.There was a minor issue with the red salsa brought out with the chips that we didn't talk to the restaurant about. When she dipped into it, she found she had biten into what she took for a cactus quill... So she tried to order some cactus, only to have the waitress come back from the kitchen to tell her after taking the order that they were out of it.Be prepared, the menu prices on the website are out of date. I've no doubt the raised prices are a result of the way the world is at this time. There are several items marked off the menu with tape as well likely because of the same.I will return in the future.
I have been out of the Navy since 2010, and this place hands down has the best seafood chimichangas. If I am ever in the area, I would make it a point to stop by for dinner.
Lemme start by saying this, never in my life have I ever been ignored in a restaurant than I did the other day. Saturday I went in with my fiancée and the kids to have dinner.we only decided to go to this location because the one on lynnhaven was about to close. We were sat at one of the booths. One of the lady’s brought up chips and just salsa…no white sauce… apparently now u have to ask to even get white sauce.. the lady set the chips and salsa down and walked off. It took about 20 minutes before someone finally came and only took our drink order… we sat there for atleast 30 minutes, we watched 2 other groups come in and get seated, get drinks and their orders taken while we sat there with no drink and no order put it. Eventually we got up and just walked out and everyone had the nerve to say have a goodnight. Never again will this location get our services.
Authentic Mexican restaurant! Highly recommend service was good and fast! Portions are good size. They have bar in the restaurant as soon you walk in on the right!
Don't get around here a ton but when I am, this is a great spot. Tonight was Texas fajita. The wife got carnitas tacos. Food is awesome. Margaritas are nice. Must stop.
