We came here to get dinner on our way home from a trip. There was no one inside but, we still had to wait to get service. Unlike other fast food joints in the area, this one had an open dine-in area so, we could use the rest room. When we went the restaurant was busy and the staff was slow and short tempered. Not my best experience but, not the worst either.
Forgot to bring us our drink cups today. Also cleaned up a spill of coffee on the floor but didn’t clean the table or chair that had a coffee spill all over it. (Not at our table). There wasn’t a clean table to sit down at inside. Had to clean our own table after looking at several dirty tables and chairs. The higher seats were very uncomfortable. All in all the food was the best part of the experience.
Best McDonald’s around . Very busy location but they are on point , my food has always been made to order (it seemed like anyways) and I HAVE NEVER BEEN TOLD THE ICE CREAM MACHINE IS NOT WORKING.
Stopped for breakfast in the Norfolk location by the outlets. We were greeted when we entered. Destiny asked if needed help with the online ordering screen. She also wished guests a Happy Father's Day and gave us a coupon for a free chicken sandwich. After we ordered, food was prepared in a timely manner. It was clearly cooked fresh and tasted delicious.
Fries aren’t even cooked all the way. Big thumbs down. Now I remember why I stopped eating McDonald’s, never made fresh or cooked all the way. The pickle on my cold double cheeseburger was the best part. Wont return!
April 7. [email protected] I placed my order. Got my order. But, when I got home, it was not my order!! I should have known. The workers were young and out of control. They were loud, talking about people in the drive-thru. The cooking area was state of disarray. They didn't care. The owner should stop by and check out their business. I know it's hard to find good help these days. I will tell my friends about this McDonald's!!
Ordered a big mack combo but wanted the quarter pounder meat on my big Mac instead.. the woman that placed my order was a little confused on how to place the order but she got it done.. came back a week later and ordered the same thing and you would have thought I had ordered something from another restaurant ... Total confusion and attitude from staff..need to be More consistency and training.. especially with the new menu with all of these weird combinations you would think it would be easy to get a big Mac with the QP patties.... Not rocket science.
Every time I go to this McDonald's the service is always good I do not have to wait in the line long and the food is always fresh.
Horrible drive thru. I come here on a semiregular basis and got my order wrong 2 times in the last couple of months. First time the worker just muted the mic on the drive thru and cars were wrapping around the mcd. I proceeded to just pull up and the worker kept saying she’ll be with me in a minute and refused to take my order storming off screaming manager. The manager came and apologized and put my order in. The line was back out to Northampton when I left.Today I had placed an order and noticed they put my order in wrong for 1 sandwich when they had a 2for 4 special going. I asked that I thought she had the right order because the price was about right for the 2 for 4 special. The employee said I had to buy the extra sand which at full price because it wasn’t ordered right. I pulled around and came into the store and the manager gave me the sandwich.I think mcd corporate needs to come in this place and properly teach the employees. I understand the job is considered minimum wage and that perhaps they’re not going to recruit great people with that salary I still think they can do better. I went to the Haygood location a few times to test it out and their drive thru is a lot better. They show your order on the screen and I never had any errors. I am planning to go to that location going forward instead of this one.
Adequate service, workers were loud and somewhat rude. Personal items laying throughout the dining area.However there was a very polite hostess tending to the needs of the customers that had been served.
