If this place goes away I will go into a depression. This is mine and my sisters go to take out meal. So flavorful, nice size portions. Literally something for everyone. I stumbled across this place just by driving by it and it did not disappoint. I recommend the chicken kabob platter with the cucumber tomato salad and spinach. SO GOOD.The staff is very friendly and they answer the phone very quickly to take your order. The food is prepared fairly quickly so by the time you order and drive there the food is ready.
I am not very familiar with mideast food, but an associate mentioned how good it was so I figured I would try it. Keep in mind, you order from the register. I didn't know, so I sat and waited for awhile. But when I figured it out, the young lady at the register was a sweetheart. She told me about the menu items and was just very friendly and courteous. The food was prepared in a short time and brought to the table. I ordered beef kebabs, egg plant and special rice. It also came with a pita and dill sauce and another sauce with garlic for dipping. The sauces were delicious, as was the rest of the food.I was there late so they started cleaning up. They were again, very courteous. I didn't feel rushed.I will definitely be going back!
This place is so good. Whenever I am not sure what I want to eat, this is the go to spot. The chicken platter with the kabuli rice, chickpeas, and tomato cucumber salad always is my go to. My boyfriend enjoys the chicken gyro. Go in and the staff is super friendly, take out and you will be happy as well. Enjoy this place as I hope they're around forever...if not, I may have to get some cooking lessons from them.
My wife, child, and I came here for dinner and spoke with one of the waiters as to what he suggested. He gave us a few good suggestions, but highly recommend the kobida kabob platter. I got the kobida kabob platter with brown rice, all sauces, eggplant and salad. My wife got the gyro platter with eggplant and chickpeas. These meals were absolutely amazing and delicious to say the least. The kobida kabob was so flavorful and tender, and the sauces just worked perfectly. The gyro meat tasted fresh and was very flavorful. Portions were excellent. All of the sides were very tasty too.We were also very happy to see how awesome the staff were. They weren't just nice people, they were genuinely cool people who all seemed to enjoy doing what they do. You can genuinely feel the heart and soul of this place when dining in. Both the food and service were so good, that my wife and I came back again the next day for lunch. My wife ordered the kobida platter, and I ordered the chicken kabob a la carte with brown rice. Chicken was absolutely fantastic, tender and flavorful, and kobida was still on point. Also got hummus and Turkish coffee, and both were very good as well. Overall, next time we're in Norfolk, we'll definitely stop by here again.
Not far from my office. We order lunch here several times a week. It has been good every time. I definitely recommend this place.
Absolutely the best quality food!!! Best tasting Grape leaves Hummus and everything else! Get one of everything. 10/10 every time
Wow! Best kebab I've had in Tidewater. Do not miss this place. Staff is friendly and getting it done. Thanks ladies and gents for an excellent meal out with several friends. Can't wait to return.
The best smelling food around. Owner is very nice and runs a tight ship! Very clean and the waitresses are so very nice and attentive. Definitely a must try kinda place for the taste of the Mediterranean!
Food is really good, but the portions are sorta smaller than you’d expect.Just had a rip-eye platter, with steamed veggies and potatoes, It was truly delicious but the serving is small.
