We ordered takeout here 3x while on vacation for only 5-6 days at VA beach. That's how good the food was. All the locals know about Mays, which is always a good sign. What we ordered:1. Breakfast sandwiches - Delicious. Generous amounts of bacon and egg, good spread and good buns. Get some!2. Lunch sandwich - was just okay. Generous amounts of salmon, but was a bit salty for me. I might just not be a fan of salmon caper sandwiches, so it might just be me.3. Danish - AMAZING. My favorite. Wife brought an air fryer with us (don't ask) and 4 danishes in the air fryer for 3mins, and it's Perfect.4. Croissants were good. Cookies were sieable but we're just okay, not amazing and not bad. Croffins were okay.5. Latte drinks were good

I grabbed some random items (chocolate crinkle cookie, blueberry scone and cinnamon bun) and all were winners…some of the best I’ve had. Prices seemed very fair ($2.75 cookies, $3.50-$5 pastries, and $3-$5 drinks). There also offer a variety of sandwiches which were about $10-12.There is both indoor and outdoor tables/chairs. The space is very neat and well-kept.All staff I encountered there were helpful and efficient.

May’s Parlor did our dessert for our wedding 5/6/22 and it was amazing!! We had so much variation on our dessert table (cheesecake, 3 tiered/flavored cake, tarts, macaroons) - I do not have professional pictures yet to post! Everyone was in awe at our wedding about how amazing these desserts were! The tasting and planning was so easy, Racheal was so responsive despite being so popular! We love this place & will continue to visit them on most of our weekends for the best baked goods in the area!
We got carryout and took it back to our balcony. SO GOOD! The quiche was tender and moist despite being thicker than some cakes I have seen. The crust is clearly made from scratch and super good! We also got the chocolate almond croissant (killer!!!) a blueberry scone (yum!) and a slice of pineapple coconut Cake (yes for breakfast, it’s vacation!) which was stunning. Topped it off with raspberry white chocolate lattes and it was a perfect breakfast!
I ordered to go/tipped the girls and they didn’t even gave me a bag for my food. I had to ask and they seemed annoyed about it. As far as the food goes the croissants are amazing. I am not a salad person but if you haven’t had their kale salad with chicken salad you are definitely missing out but be prepared to spend $15 for it. They have additional charges for everything.

Two stars because the pastries were delicious but the service was less than ideal. 1) we were given the wrong scone & after letting them know the two signs customer facing were switched, the employee didn’t acknowledge the error, and then spoke to my mother in a very unprofessional and rude tone. She came across as short tempered and annoyed from the moment we started our interaction and order. It was offensive and a disheartening way to start the day. We spoke to the employee checking us out and she apologized for her co-workers behavior and said it was unacceptable 2) We ordered the ham breakfast sandwich with no mustard and when we received it, it was smothered in mustard. I truly hope other customers aren’t spoken to or treated the way we were today. The pastries were incredibly delicious but the customer experience was less than ideal and deeply unappreciated.
Holy cow!! We stopped here for a birthday breakfast and the BEC was sublime! The lates were made well and were delicious. I can’t wait to try the macaroons!!
