Prices on menu are not the prices you are charged on your check. We went to the Lynnhaven mall location on 05/28/2022. The food and service were good but when we received our check, we were charged more for our meals than the prices were listed on the menu. When we asked about the discrepancies, we were told that their prices had changed and they have not updated the menus yet. We should have been given this information when we were given the menus instead of after receiving the check. Now we're wondering how many people this has happened to. We do not like feeling deceived and will go elsewhere in the future.
I really enjoyed this place, and the mug the beer was in was cool, so I asked to purchase one. They sold me one for $20. I was happy with this purchase until I got home and the mug is covered in chips and cracks. They clearly just got a used one from the back, which is certainly not worth $20. If they had more respect for their customers, this could be a 5 star place, but now I just feel disappointed and regret coming here.
Was looking for a place to take my niece and her husband and saw this place online and decided to give them a try. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for high quality service and delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. This may have been my first time here but it certainly won't be my last.
Overall good food. But as we were finishing up, a huge cockroach was walking down the wall towards our table. Fortunately my family didn't see this as I quickly removed them all from the table. Of course that was a year ago and maybe they are more sanitary now. But we don't intend on ever going back.
My 2nd time here and the food was delicious and our waiter was fantastic! The margaritas are huge and so decorative!
If you don't mind paying for the ambience you won't mind the price of the food. However, my daughter ordered a chicken taco combo and we had to search for the chicken. There was literally two or three ounces of chicken in the meal. However, the fajitas were good. I took 2/3 of it home.
Seen the good reviews & rating. Gave it a try. **RUN** The menus & table smelled sour. We almost left then, but decided against our better judgement to give it a try. I had ordered the "Crispy" chili relleno. It was so soggy and batter tasted & looked like pancake mix. The beans taste like they came out of a can and rice in a 90 second microwave bag. No flavor what so ever. I was then admiring the dust caked on the center metal dividers when we had a friendly roach come out to say hello. We had told the waiter and she wasn't phased at all. She grabbed one of our dirty napkins and reached over and killed it. If they don't have enough pride in their restraunt to atleast have the menus and tables not smell sour, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. ??
Best Mexican we have had bc the oils they use to cook do not upset our stomach. Most other places do. The people are nice, the food is amazing, and the service is quick.
I ordered the Chile Relleno meal through Door Dash and it was Awesome! They were opened late which was perfect for me when ordering for delivery ! Food was so good !!
Went for one of my sister's birthday, and they had a mariachi band who were great!! Food was pretty average and super filling, service was prompt, my drink was always refilled very quickly (i drink a lot of water, so i can easily go through 4-5+ cups in a sitting and normally have to constantly wait forever for a refill at other places. so, it was really nice having such an attentive waiter, especially with so many of us), atmosphere was pretty fun and vibrant, and the staff were all friendly. would most certainly go again, especially for some drinks.
