I wanted to stop and try their food truck for a long time. Excited about the brick and mortar expansion. Walked in today and ordered the Al pastor tacos. The meat was pretty dry. I tried to add salsa to them. Didn’t help. The Birria mulita was ok. Missing the intensity of flavor that comes from a decent birria. My wife thought the carne asada tacos were good though. Wish there was a couple more wedges of lime.Overall nice little place. Very clean and taqueria ish. Would have liked to hear kitchen action through the black curtain as my food was being prepared. The best Mexican food in Virginia Beach! They recently upgraded from a food truck to their own restaurant and I couldn't be happier. It's very clean and the workers are always nice and helpful. The food is always amazing and very good quality for the price!
Mexican food always the best and with a great taste can’t complain. Best Horchata I had in months. Not one to write reviews but can’t help it on this one! Krazy Trompos has the BEST vegan sopes (vegetarian sope without queso fresco or crema). My boyfriend and I crave them every week! ? And they let us try a vegan Hibiscus taco, which might sound questionable but just try it! It has a carne asada-like texture and tastes amazing! 10/10 recommend this place!
Went to the new store on Rosemont. This place is incredible, very authentic. So far I have tried the majority of the various meats and have enjoyed every single one. Please try the Birria tacos! The sauce it comes with is one of the best things I've ever eaten.
Best local spot for authentic food. They have everything you would want. Very fast service. Always call ahead for pickup. Burrito is the best bang. Love the birra tacos. Always support local businesses. Horchata is very good as well. I have personally had everything on the menu. Best food in town.
First time - tried asada, carnitas, and pastor. The pastor had fresh pineapples which I liked. Asada was bold. It’s was prepped fast. The verde sauce was creamy - maybe added guacamole ? It was just the right amount of spice.
One of the best places to get tacos in the area. The customer service is always top notch and friendly. Today, I went in there for my usual queso tacos. When I got back to eat my lunch I had the wrong tacos. I called and told of my problem they quickly fixed it. I will be always go back because of the customer service and family
If I could, I would give them 6 stars out of 5! Everything my wife and I order exceeded expectations.
