The ice cream here was delicious and the staff was so friendly!
Just so-so. Not terrible, but nothing amazing. Plenty of other better ice cream places on the boardwalk. Search on Google or Google maps

I got the chocolate and peanut butter and hubby got the banana and strawberries both were absolutely amazing and would definitely get again

Typical frozen custard. Nothing special about it and the menu had limited options. There were two people working there and it took 15 minutes to get our two cones and three milkshakes. The one person played on her phone instead of helping the other person get our order ready.
Made a special trip to Kohr's after calling to confirm that they did actually serve CUSTARD. The manager told me during my call that they do serve custard; they do not. After making the trip to the Virginia Beach location we ordered 2 large waffle cones with chocolate custard. We were charged $16 for what turned out to be small soft-serve chocolate cones with no toppings. When I asked the clerk why $16 she told me "those are Ultimate cones". A quick review of the menu board revealed that Ultimate cones included toppings and were pictured larger yhan than the cones we were served. I told her that the cones she served us did not appear to be Ultimate based on thd menu board description and picture. She said, "well, I can do anything because we can't raje anything back after it crosses the counter." A rip-off! A simple unquestionable rip-off taking advantage of customers most of whom are tourists. DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO KOHR BROTHERS. FIRST, THEY DO NOT SERVE CUSTARD. SECOND, THEY CHEAT CUSTOMERS.
After being diaappointed by another 1 star icecream shop in the area this place was top notch clean great service and delicious quality icecream.
Located just off the beach by the amusement area, they have great soft serve ice cream. Enough variety for everyone to find something they like. We thought they were a bit expensive, especially the shakes. Unfortunately, you cannot order cone/dish ice cream at the same time you order shakes; have to wait in 2 separate lines.
Hands down some of the best frozen custard ever
