Normally Kohr Brothers is a pleasant experience but the cones we bought this time were not completely frozen. They were literally melting around the cone and dripping on our hands as they were handed to us. Overpriced (which I can forgive if the quality was there) for a substandard product. Definitely not worth the $32 we paid.
We stopped here and got a Peanut Butter and chocolate swirl ice cream dipped in chocolate. The taste of each was perfect, one flavor didn't over power the other and was perfect for dessert.
The ice cream and cone were great.
Pretty good custard, but nothing to go out of your way for. Flavors are very basic.
Made a special trip to Kohr's after calling to confirm that they did actually serve CUSTARD. The manager told me during my call that they do serve custard; they do not. After making the trip to the Virginia Beach location we ordered 2 large waffle cones with chocolate custard. We were charged $16 for what turned out to be small soft-serve chocolate cones with no toppings. When I asked the clerk why $16 she told me "those are Ultimate cones". A quick review of the menu board revealed that Ultimate cones included toppings and were pictured larger yhan than the cones we were served. I told her that the cones she served us did not appear to be Ultimate based on thd menu board description and picture. She said, "well, I can do anything because we can't raje anything back after it crosses the counter." A rip-off! A simple unquestionable rip-off taking advantage of customers most of whom are tourists. DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO KOHR BROTHERS. FIRST, THEY DO NOT SERVE CUSTARD. SECOND, THEY CHEAT CUSTOMERS.

This place is a must for ice cream on the beach! I tried their banana ice cream with the chocolate dipped sprinkle cone and YUMMM! Great/weird flavor that totally works! My boyfriend tried the orange and vanilla swirl cone and it was good, except too much orange and not enough vanilla, but hopefully that was just a one time issue. We will be back!
Located just off the beach by the amusement area, they have great soft serve ice cream. Enough variety for everyone to find something they like. We thought they were a bit expensive, especially the shakes. Unfortunately, you cannot order cone/dish ice cream at the same time you order shakes; have to wait in 2 separate lines.
