Walked in. The place is beautiful. Lots of goodies but we could not find one price tag or price list anywhere! How much are the candies on the shelf? I don't know. We wanted ice cream cones. There was a menu board for the flavors but no prices. The place was busy so there wasn't anyone to ask. It was very frustrating to possibly have to ask an employee how much is this or that while others were waiting to be served. I am not going to blindly buy something without first knowing what it will cost me. We walked out very disappointed.
Excellent ice cream and chocolate covered candy. They also have fudge, but didn't have any of that. They are pricey, but the place to go in Virginia beach for the absolute best ice cream and other treats.
This is a nice ice cream shop! They have several good flavors and the staff is so nice! My daughter has an egg allergy and they let her look at the ingredients and got her a clean scoop to avoid cross contamination! They also had fudge and caramel apples and homemade taffy!.We'll definitely be back to try other flavors!!
The fudge is absolutely delicious! We bought ice cream too. The service was friendly, helpful, and patient. Great local place for desserts!
My son has a dairy allergy (I know and we were looking for ice cream — but it DOES exist) - we stopped at multiple places on the strip and for various reasons we kept walking and I’m SO GLAD we did! . The staff at Kilwins was kind and compassionate towards an allergy! They even brought the tub out so I could read it myself and make sure! The staff gave a sample spoon and I ran it out to my toddler whom was already disappointed by multiple other shops that were so rude to us and him … so he tasted it and literally SHOOK with EXCITEMENT because it was dairy free! We rolled in and grabbed a cup for him and got treats for us too! Even better the staff member with enthusiasm said “what did he think about it!?!?” And I showed her these photos of him being thrilled! ❤️ . Truly the best experience, the shop was clean, the ice cream was yummy and we will definitely be going here from now on! Thank you!!!
On my granny kids this is the best candy apple I’ve ever had, Kim is literally the greatest and most sweet lady I’ve ever met!!!!!
Kilwins produces perhaps the nearest thing to perfect ice cream, complimented by waffle cones hand produced on site.......and the fudge!!!!
Felt bad. Walked in 10 mins before they were closing. The staff were still very friendly. Even tried a few ice cream. I dunno why there so many sweet frogs but they needed more of Kilwins instead. This place spoo good! Soooooo many verifies of ?. Love the environment and friendless the atmosphere brings. Way better than any ice cream/candy shop in the are. Must visit place.
The sea salt caramel covered marshmallow was amazing, the pretzel twist was really good, but the pecan turtle Carmel apple was to die for. I love the Carmel and will going back for a jar in the future. Friendly staff and great location. I cannot wait to try all the other treats they have and next time I will be trying the ice-cream
