Very nice inside, amazing waitress staff, plenty of food, seats over 800 people at one time, desserts were great, All the delicacies were amazing and of course alaskan king crab legs. Must check out all the choices in souvenir T-shirts. So impressed went back 5 days later while in town on vacation.
This is the seafood version of Golden Coral. After eating a few bites of the salty, greasy « butter » drenched foods, I literally lost my appetite. Everything tasted the same. (The crab legs were okay and so was the fresh fruit.) We came for my son’s birthday and he could barely eat after sampling the nautical gruel and a couple of the previously frozen fried sea things. He actually vomited when we got home. Not a happy birthday and definitely not worth the $50 per person price. Don’t believe the hype-this place is not good.
If you like crab legs have at it. All other items are average at most. The steak was mid-rare, which is fine but very tough. At almost $200, for the three of us, I would think this should be way better
We went Saturday night. It was the worst experience for the money. We paid $120 for two. My wife got sick and we left her $50 in a gas station bathroom. If you want to sit next to a shirtless dude, pay far to much for average seafood, want to get sick on the crab legs, than this the place to go.
Family of 6 on a Monday night. No wait time and superb service. We've been going here while on vacation for many years. Everyone fills up on the crab legs and shrimp and some of the regular hot foods they offer. For some reason, all 6 of us got sick. Like having the stomach flu sick within an hour to two hours after eating. First time ever. Not sure what made us all ill after eating there that night, but the two common things we all ate were the crab legs and shrimp. Prices have gone up unfortunately like everywhere else. $50 per person that night. I would give Captain George's 5 stars for cleanliness, organization, wonderful staff, and food selection. But because of all of us getting sick, 3 stars for this particular visit.
I eat at Captain George's every time I visit the beach. The food is always good and the crablegs help to bring value to the price. You will enjoy your visit all the way up until it time to pay up. HAHA. Enjoy.
The crab legs were delicious, great service.also a great variety of seafood, staff very friendly. Great desert table.
Absolutely worth it and then some. $47 a person is actually a great deal especially if you are a seafood lover. The snow crab legs were perfectly cooked. I've been to places where they overcook them and they end it having no flavor. These were perfect and so good. They have a great selection of other seafood like little necks and mussels. The staff did a great job restocking the buffet and clearing the shells on our table. Went there twice on our vacation. Highly recommended.
Everyone's favorite place to go out to eat when you desire All You Can Eat crab legs, they do an excellent job at refreshing the crab legs on the Buffet
I was underwhelmed with my experience. I expected more for what I paid. The food could have done with a bit more seasoning tbhThe atmosphere & decor was a pleasant surprise
