Like another reviewer mentioned, you have to order outside first, and it was unclear at first if we could even sit inside (fortunately, we could). Wait staff was nice but seemed annoyed when we asked basic questions (such as “can we sit inside?” Can we get a water cup?” Can we get some napkins please?”).Once we went inside, we were overcome by the smell of bleach. They also don’t offer free water cups to paying customers. They said we would have a pay for bottled water. For me, that alone is enough to deter me from dining in there again. If we went in and only asked for waters that would be understandable, but given that by that point we had already ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 lattes that cost us nearly $50, not getting a free water cup was pretty surprising. Lattes were fine, but a bit pricey for their actual taste and size. The interior and patio have fun decor and good music, but the interior is also somewhat messy.All that being said, the only thing they really have going for them is good music and good food, so I’d suggest just getting take out.
Don't waste your money or your time. The owner was extremely rude and the food was mediocre. We came here on a Thursday morning with family and placed 3 separate orders. One order came right away. The second order came after 45 minutes. The third order never came. When we went to ask they gave us 2 free cookies and said the order didn't print. When we went to ask again they gave us our money back and cancelled the order without telling us. When we asked for the food the owner told us to "get out of my store" and go somewhere else if we wanted "free food". Such poor customer service to yell at customers who waited an hour for food.
We've been here a handful of times before, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had in 10 years in VB. Got here at 11:34 on a Saturday, ordered our food almost immediately (in a line outside, there is no table service anymore) and got our food at 12:42. Turns out they somehow lost our order and we finally had to grab someone to let them know how long we'd been waiting. You are also forced to pay and tip as soon as you order. With the multitude of great brunch options in the area, I don't think we'll be returning here.

Great little boutique coffee shop with all kinds of things coffee. We had some breakfast sandwiches with some great got and cold coffee.
We loved this coffee shop! We stopped for a quick pick me up coffee on the way back to the beach from having lunch at Barrel 17, and very much enjoyed it. They have a lot of very original options for coffee drinks and food. Next time we are in town we'll definitely come back to eat!
Very slow service. Waited an hour for my meal which was a BLT. Bacon was soggy and cold.
I moved here from Northern VA about 6 months ago. I found this gem of a coffee place. Great look, vibe, coffee and food. This has been my favorite coffee shop ever but then today I had the worst experience. I worked in the restaurant business for 10 years and was caught off guard by the way I was treated. The strange thing is it wasn’t a grouchy server but the owner himself. I go there at least 3 days a week and tell everyone I know how great it is but now after today…. You are the face of this great little coffee shop, why would you treat any customer (especially one that sings praises but you) in such a careless attitude. I know you are busy, I get that but all I wanted was my food Togo and you treated me like I was asking to give me your Raptor. Truly disappointed and mad that I now have to find another favorite coffee shop.
I love this local spot. The food is awesome and so are the smoothies. The owner is nice and really cares about his clientele. My 5 yr old dropped her eggs on the floor and he brought her fresh ones. great service. highly recommend
