Forgot to take pictures until we had started in on the food. All was really good! The fries came piled up high! The pizza was good. I would have preferred the crust to be a tad more crispy, but that is just a preference and it did not make the pizza any less tasty. Hubby and I tried some drinks, he had a brut and said it was very good. I tried the old fashioned and the French 75, both very good!
Lovely restaurant off the VA beach strip. They have a lovely ambiance and friendly staff with great suggestions. A great variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from, and amazing food fired pizzas. We went in on a Tuesday and we’re surprised to see they actually run taco Tuesday specials here. Great margaritas at great prices! Was glad I came across this restaurant!!

GREAT atmosphere (although the neighborhood is kinda sketch if walking at night). The OG pizza is terrific but in no way should it be more than $15. The fried deviled eggs were good, but you get one...and it was overpriced. Kids loved the fries appetizer with three sauces. We loved the grilled romaine salad, too! The hostess and waitstaff were fantastic.
Upscale atmosphere with great food and even better servers. Very tasty dishes. I had the Margherita pizza, deviled eggs, and oysters on the shell. Visiting from TN and this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to.
Great restaurant. My wife and some of her coworkers went here after work for dinner earlier this week. The food was phenomenal. Hearth has a great menu with an extensive wine list and several pizza selections. For drinks, the table ordered various wines and a few cocktails I had deviled eggs as an appetizer and my wife had the fries. They were both great. One of her coworkers had the oysters and was kind enough to let me try them and they tasted great as well. Everyone at the table had some variation of pizza for dinner except me. I had the rockfish as the waitress recommended it. I was not disappointed. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Lastly, the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Hearth for dinner or possibly even drinks. Now I understand why my wife and her coworkers go here so often. I definitely plan to return.
We stumbled upon Hearth Wood while in town for an event at the convention center. We didn’t expect to enjoy such a fantastic meal in this trip, so this was a delightful bonus. I can’t recommend this place enough. The food was absolutely top notch - probably the best meal I have had in two years. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the chef and cooks do their thing. We had the smoked deviled oysters and the wood fired carrots as appetizers. Both were absolutely delicious. We had the schnitzel and the woodland pizza for main courses, again, absolutely out of this world. Portions were huge, so sadly no room for dessert. Wonderful ambience, and our server was top notch. She knew the menu, was friendly and professional and had great recommendations. Food came quickly and was hot. We will definitely come again next time we are in Virginia Beach.
Had a reservation and was seated on arrival. Menu was mostly pizza but did offer some other meals and nightly specials I ordered the O.G. pizza; dining partner ordered the Woody Harrelson. Both were delicious. We definitely could have shared one pizza but wanted to try the different toppings. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to people living in or visiting the area.
This was probably my absolute favorite restaurant I’ve tried in years. Last night was our second visit; our first was such a great experience we HAD to come back! Our dining experience began with appetizers- we opted for the Greek Farro salad and house fries. Both came out promptly! The fries were extremely fresh and the salad was perfect! We tried a mixed drink that was divine! For the main course, pizza was enticing and we were not disappointed in the least! The crust was perfectly blistered and the smoked mozzarella complimented the Parmesan! We LOVED the homemade pizza sauce and the attentive waiter ensured our orders were executed specifically! On both occasions, the atmosphere was light, jovial, and warm. We felt at ease and in good company surrounded by others who were just as satisfied as we were, while eating and conversing. We came because of the high ratings/ reviews, and we’ll be back for another exquisite dining experience!
My friends and I arrived on a busy Saturday evening, and didn’t find space for 6 available. We chose to spread out in the bar area and work with what they had for seating. The bar staff soon figured out a way to seat us all at the bar together and we were good to go. The manager soon came over and said they try their best to get us a table asap. We were totally fine at the bar, but I couldn’t help but notice and appreciate the care and attention the staff had for everyone there. This restaurant has excellent service, kind staff, very efficient kitchen operation, and delicious food. We were amazed at the kitchen operation, with the beautiful plates and pizzas coming out with machine consistency and artisan beauty. The pizza is exquisite, with perfectly cooked and seasoned dough. It would be difficult to find it’s equal anywhere in the area. I’d like to speak for my group, and extend our very warm gratitude to the staff! We look forward to our next visit!
