We were celebrating Father's day. Normally the food and service is great, but not this day! Food was served COLD. Our drinks took forever to be served. My husband ordered a draft beer and they were out of beer mugs so they served it in a extra small mixed drink cup. Our food had to be reheated 2x! It was kind of like we were seated and forgotten about. We had to ask for silverware. I understand everyone is short staffed, the server was working both inside and outside as well as busting tables. I hope they are able to hire reliable people soon so that they can get back to the level of food and service everyone is accustomed to from Harpoon Larry's. I appreciate the efforts of the staff, but it just fell short this time.
Delicious food and great service! Crab soup is great; 1/2 lb steamed shrimp was a nice portion. Coconut crusted Mahi sandwich was perfectly delicious!
Speechless. Food okay. The rest.....never again. EVER. Not a family place. I live in Pollyannaland and I could tell tricks were being turned in the parking lot. The whole place was just dysfunctional. HORRENDOUS
If I could give this restaurant half of a star, I would. Extremely poor service, lousy food for the price. Waitress was very slow and inattentive. Food took a long time to arrive, and when it did finally show up, it was terribly overcooked. About the only lukewarm positive was the taste of the she-crab soup. It was good, but not warmed up enough. One other thing of note were the bathrooms, which my wife and I both used. In a word, they’re a train wreck. I do NOT recommend this restaurant at all; save yourself the grief and go somewhere else.
My wife & I had a great time there. We had the hot crab dip & it was delicious. I had the seafood platter & she had a steamed combo. It was all good. She drank rum sliders & I had some local beer. All the time we listened to 70s music that reminded us when we were in college.
Cool location!They had a employee shortage that night in the middle of a busy rush so our server had to help cook, run food and serve us!!But☝? he continued to check on us ,communicated with us we waited or wanted for NOTHING!The whole staff worked together SERVICE was PERFECT music was great my sis and i had a good dinnerOur drinks were made to perfection our food was HOTT and was not lacking tasteWitnessing all of what occurred I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK because thats what i call PROFESSIONAL SERVICE they did not give excuses they made it work and pulled together
If I could give it 0 stars I would. Service terrible and food was terrible. Got steamed combo. It was cold, over cooked and I only got 1 crawfish when I was supposed to get 4. Asked for silverware and finally had to get up and ask again. Manager too busy to come to the table. The place is not that busy.
When I visited with a friend, it was so noisy you could not hear anything. We waited a long time and were not served even offered a menu so we left. Ladies restroom was filthy.
Food was so salty I had to dip it in salted butter to try and wash some off. Fried to nearly inedible levels. This place had absolutely no redeeming qualities. Some staff was rude (some were nice, like our waitress) Are there no health inspectors in VA Beach? This place is gross.
Great prices and amazing service! The waitress was definitely on top of her game and made the experience even better. I'll definitely be returning. Oh also the drinks are absolutely delicious. My man got a rum runner and it tasted so good!
