Went here for dinner with the wifey! Walked in an was greatest promptly, walked to the table and took our drink orders before leaving. The food was amazing! The selection was grand and the buns was the the yellow stuff in it was fire! Sweet and savory! Awesome place!!!
This restaurant will always have a special place in my heart. It is truly an amazing experience, from start to finish. The staff are helpful and engaging, the food is glorious, and the menu is so expansive, my husband and I would come back again and again, excited to try something new.Prices are great and the portions are so generous we would always look forward to leftovers the next day. We loved taking friends to Guangdong Taste to share dishes at one of the large tables. Although we're moving out of the state soon, whenever we return to Virginia Beach, we will definitely have another meal there.
I can not say enough about this amazing restaurant. I have had nothing I didn't love from this place. its so authentic and very tasty. Every time I go I always get the chicken feet as they are super yummy. Anything from the Dim Sum menu is amazing. I love everything salt and peppered here. My wife and i really enjoy this place as a date night.
We ended up at this restaurant using a quick search for local Chinese. We were treated to an absolutely magical, authentic Chinese meal.Most of the other customers were Asian, which just shows how authentic it is. Staff treated is awesome. Food was incredible.
My husband and I are from Maryland. We wanted to eat Chinese food. I checked the internet and this restaurant had the best reviews. We were in for a real treat! The food was delicious. I have never seen such a diversified menu as this is. Please check their menu out on the internet. The wait staff were terrific too. We cannot say enough about this place. The restaurant is very clean with very large bathrooms if you are handicapped. Try it, you will not be disappointed!
Oh my God! This place is amazing! I wish I could give it 10 stars!Me and my husband were starving so we ordered a ton of food (had to take leftovers home). My personal favorite were the soup dumplings, but also my squid with XO sauce was cooked to an absolute perfection.Service was attentive and I wish I lived closer - I’d be in this establishment weekly :)
Eating at Guangdong is a always a pleasure. I am surprised that their lunch special is good for 2 people. Food is excellent! However, just cautioning when ordering “To go”, before you leave, check whether you have rice, which is part of the lunch special. Otherwise, the food is delicious! ??
This was my first time at Guandong. Enjoyed the Mixed Vegetable With Garlic Sauce lunch special which was delicious. I added the Chile sauce that was available at the table to enhance the meal. I tried chicken feet for the first and last time. I know many like the chicken feet but it wasn't for me. The restaurant was clean and spacious with good parking. I look forward to returning.
We need one here in Williamsburg! This is the most authentic tasting Chinese food I've had in Virginia. They serve family style dishes so order them to share. There were 7 of us and we fit comfortably in the round tables. The tables had a lazy-susan so it was easy to pass around the food. We each ordered a dish (or two) and thought that our food would not fit on the table but we made it all work. We were hungry!! Our son and DIL had their Peking duck with the bread that comes with it. It was their second time here and had to order it again. As you'll see in the photos we ordered a variety of food and every one of the dishes was flavorful and delicious. Nothing was too salty to us. It was the normal wait for food even though most all their tables were full. (this was Christmas Eve) I would advise to reserve a table on the weekends or on busy holidays. There was a line out the door when we arrived but we had reservations and were seated within minutes of arriving. If you're ever in the VA Beach area, give them a try!
Food met our expectation, from the soup to appetizers and main dishes. Everything was good. A plus is the spacious set up of tables. It allows for needed social distancing during this pandemic. Service was excellent, food came quick and as ordered.
