We are on vacation here in Virginia Beach. My husband decided to check out this bakery on our way to a store. I am so glad he did! The strawberry shortcake cheesecake is by far the best I have ever had. I would definitely recommend this shop. In fact, we are on our way back to pick up some to share with our family.
Absolutely amazing desserts here!!! The Pineapple spears OMG, i couldn't get enough of them, the drizzle combination is brilliant, love them!!!

Visiting from Florida and was told about this bakery and gell in love with the red velvet, lemon pound, delicious sweet potato pie and the bread pudding is to die for. Prefer this over Nothing Bundt cake
The desserts at Gimme the Sweets Bakery are delicious and just right for a universal palate. Each dessert ranging from the cinnamon buns to the cheesecake as well as other pastries are too sweet but sweet enough. Second most people eat with their eyes first and this bakery doesn't disappoint. Definitely priced fairly and getting more in return.
My first time trying it OMG!!! Strawberry cheesecake was amazing!!! I went in there and was like a kid !! I wanted to trying everything . They got me be back there in two days when everything gone promise!!!
I saw this bakery today on a friend’s post and I told my husband I have to try it! We went straight there after work and I felt welcomed soon as I walked in the door. They had several options to choose from. I quickly spotted the strawberry shortcake cheesecake and just knew I needed to have it!! It was soooooo delicious!! I definitely will be back to try more! Highly recommend!!!!
Everything was so good, it didn't even leave the parking lot. I even had their special of seafood alfredo by D'lish catering and it was excellent. Just wish it was heated before serving but all in all, great service, sweets, food and drinks. Will definitely return!!
I found this gem today while searching for cupcakes. If you have not taken the time to stop, you are missing a delicious dessert. The store was clean with a nice display. I have to say the strawberry cupcake was one of the best I have eaten. I will definitely be using them for my go to desserts.
Not the biggest selection but the staff was awesome and what we got was delicious!
