very good food, very good service friendly ,the host. The surrullitos "divine" churrasco yum yum.

The appetizers were amazing, the sorullitos were definitely the best. But unfortunately they treated my mother terribly on MOTHERS DAY. We kindly returned some food we did not like and were still going to pay but when our server (very kind) returned the food to the kitchen the door was left open and we heard the owner yell “see I told you they only wanted free food”. If you have ever gone to this restaurant you would know how small it is so imagine how Incredibly embarrassing it is for EVERYONE to hear it. When my mom went up to address the situation she was quickly rude and a liar. The table behind us was shocked at the fact we were getting treated so badly. Not once did we mention we were not going to pay or that we were unsatisfied with the service until we were being yelled at. Then the owner continued to yell that we didn’t have to pay for anything but to never return to her establishment. If you look at the previous reviews you would see she threatens everyone with cameras but I would love for her to post the video of her yelling and calling us liars. We still paid because at no point we’re we going to accept free food from an establishment who would throw it in our faces. Overall I believe if the restaurant had a better management it would’ve been better. Not to mention there were no restrooms or heater so we were freezing. I hope god can bless this restaurant and the management to bring clarity into what a good service is.

The best chef in town. I love the original caribeña food taste , always fast and great service. A real family operation

I had a pot luck at work, and needed some empanadas, and owner, despite that he was going to be closed the next day, made the empanadas for me while the place was closed, they were fresh and delicious, I love everything else that I tasted, mofongo, churrasco with rice and beans, arroz cob gandules and pernil.... everything is delicious.

Great food. A little of the island here in Virginia Beach. Really good service.

After a lengthy wait ,for my order , I ultimately had to leave and not wait for another order ,to be made. Although I did receive a refund ,there was no apology issued for the mix up. It's very disheartening when you support local businesses, and they have no respect for their customers.

Delicious and authentic Puerto Rican cuisine! Can't wait to go back!

Food was delicious. Way better than de rican chef and so far any other puerto rican restaurant in Hampton roads. A must have. Mofongo was moist, permil, was not dry and good flavor, rice was loose and full of flavor, beans could be eaten alone. All washed down with an ice cold kola champagne. Definately will go again. They also do grub hub and door dash. WE WILL BE BACK!
