This is an indoor/outdoor bar and pizza restaurant. The bartenders take orders at the counter and then you go to a table where you food is brought to you. There was only one bartender working when we arrived and one group left because of the delay in taking orders. That said, we got our meal fairly quickly and the servers were good, including offering refills on drinks. We had the greek salad, spaghetti with meatballs and cheese bread. The salad and spaghetti were good and the salad was fresh, which was nice. The cheese bread was less successful (tasted like it had absorbed some old, burned smells from the oven) . Overall, a decent meal with a convenient location on Atlantic.

Food is ok but not worth the price. They’ve had some good bartenders but they all leave because of the insane method of them tipping out the servers!! And prices have gone way up! A Bud Light draft was $7.50. That’s crazy even at the beach. I will go out of my way not to go here again.
We say 3 of them on the walk down Atlantic Ave and the last night we just had to try it and I am glad we did it not a Chicago/NY pizza but it was great for that late night craving!! and they were quick!
I had a mixed experience at this location. Our food that they initially stated would take 20 minutes ended up taking an hour, additionally they forgot one of our orders. We realized that only after we walked back to the hotel room. Ending up paying more for less food and waiting longer than expected was not ideal.The pizza did taste pretty good though, but I am unsure if I will revisit again since there are other similar places to this throughout the beach, that may also have better service.
The food was good, we asked for big size specialty pizza, a house salad, two draught beers and a pepsi . I payed around $ 57 and added a tip of 10% on the customized option . The service ok. They charged 2 days later for $ 106. they took their time to add some extras on my back.
Doughboys is always our 1st go to restaurant as soon as we get to Virginia Beach. Never disappointed with the service or food. Excellent all the way around.....Any time of the year
order at bar - wait for food. No please, no thank you , no receipt. Food was ok , hot and tasty but waitress gave them impression she wanted to be anywhere but there.
Very nice pizza place. Loved the dough. Would recommend a visit. Had the Ghost Pepper Bloddy Mary. Was pretty good.
My husband and I ordered pizza and drinks with the $6.00 special menu. The pizza was absolutely delicious and so were the drinks! Brandon, the bartender, was extremely friendly and helpful especially when it started raining and he carried our pizza inside so we were out of the rain. We had such a great conversation with not only Brandon but the kitchen workers. So friendly. I highly recommend Dough Boys !!!!!
