The service was excellent! The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the sweet potato pecan pancakes. The only disappointment I had was there were very little pecans in the pancakes. They were delicious though. Chopped pecans on top or more in the batter would have made it even better! I would recommend this place, and plan on coming back!
Visited Doc Taylor’s for brunch this weekend as it was close to our hotel room and we needed something quick. Wow, did this place deliver! It is popular but we were able to sit at the kitchen bar which was a fun spot. The food was absolutely delicious with incredibly friendly and fast service! We got the Omelette and Eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint! The Bloody Mary’s were the perfect touch to a great meal! We’ll be back!
Doc Taylor's was pretty decent. Definitely felt the family centric vibes. Aesthetically this place is a wonderfully renovated home turned restaurant with ample seating inside and patio side. Doc's is located street-side, so you'll have to find parking in the back or nearby. The prices are fair and the food was decent. The kids options here had no complaints, and the Mickey Mouse pancakes were a hit! I'll come back again to try out some of their lunch options.
Good food, excellent service! Great spot for breakfast/brunch during Shamrock weekend. Love the atmosphere. Popular local spot with excellent food; worth the wait for post-race brunch! Sweet potato pecan pancakes, please and plenty of coffee!
Eclectic little dive kitchen. Parking was hidden behind the restaurant, looks like you are walking into someone’s kitchen. Greek inlet was good, had gluten free options (or at least they were willing to accommodate. Friendly service.
Great food....Great service. Breakfast twice...We were not disappointed. Yes...It's an old house...But we love character!! Food is scratch and delicious!!
Quaint place for morning breakfast. Service was wonderful with or server remembering the order for 6 of us.
The place does not look like much, the address difficult to find on the building. It turns out the house has historical value, once a physician's home and office. The brunch food was very good. There were plenty of choices and our group had eggs Benedict, homemade corned beef hash, and cream chipped beef. Our waiter was delightful, very patient when we continued to sit around drinking mimosas. The mimosas were great, not too much orange juice and not too much money. It is definitely on our repeat list.
I hate writing this, and probably would not be if I had been taken seriously by management. Ordered drinks at bar while waiting for table. Open kitchen concept, can sit at bar and watch cooks. Cook NOT wearing gloves, cooking food, starts scratching his crotch, goes right back to cooking, plating and touching food. Turned our pager back in to hostest, tried speaking to manager. He would not even look at me, kept typing on computer and only said, “unhunh, ok”. THAT WAS IT! No, “sorry that happened, I’ll speak to him, I’ll take care of it”, etc. If management doesn’t care, employees won’t either.
We stopped by here on our way home on a Sunday morning. This place never disappoints me. Though they were very busy, we were seated immediately. We ordered a Single Shot and Eggs Benedict. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portions are plentiful and reasonably priced. I also love the fact that you can order a Bloody Mary or Mimosas with your eggs. If you never stopped by for breakfast your are missing out. We highly recommend.
