I was celebrating my birthday with a lady friend who al had a birthday. We enjoyed it. It was obvious they were short staffed and the staff was working hard to keep up. The food pinto beans and greens and chicken and dumplings were okay but not as they used to be. No chicken at all in the dumplings and about half the bowl was filled. The pinto beans were more like refried beans and very, very dry. The greens were tasty but I had to request vinegar twice. I gave you a 5 star as I understand the lack of staff etc. It's a very disturbing world we are living in. I love Cracker Barrel.

First time going to this location & it did not disappoint us. Our server was Ms. Jennifer. She was attentive, helpful and very patient with us. Bf have a particular diet. Food was amazing! Steak was to die for! I had Grandma's sampler. Even my 8 yo who barely eats ate all her food and had some more! Price was a good deal too! Thank you Cracker Barrel! You all deserve a reward! ☆☆☆☆☆

The service was great! Ms. Doris took great care of us! I was sad to see that they had gotten rid of the sunrise sampler, which was my favorite breakfast option because I always like a little bit of everything. The food was pretty good, everything was cooked properly and seasoned well. No complaints here except that the store at the front always gets me and I can't leave without picking up a sweet or two.

To be honest the best place about this restaurant was the staff. Very nice and accommodating, I showed up with three kids. Some things are very disappointing: 1) if you're going to offer children mac and cheese, it probably shouldn't be out of a cast iron pan picky kids will look at their go-to-dish oddly when there's a bunch of brown specks in it from caramelized cheese or whatever. 2) I got the sirloin hash brown casserole thing. It was $1 more than my significant others dish, and her "grand slam breakfast" dwarfed the size of my meal. Which maybe had six small pieces of sirloin, and one uniform bland flavor. 3) they put this small five person family at the four-person table and I don't see how it's possible to even have four adults at these tables. They are entirely too small, it was very frustrating to have to climb over everything to help out one of the kids or to even reach a condiment.Cracker barrel is supposed to remind you of like an old time restaurant, they did everything big back then. And to be fair even when you walk in the front you have a giant checkerboard, with giant checkers on a small table with even smaller chairs that only children could sit at.I take back one thing the other great thing about this place, is they have my favorite beverage: Moxie. Technically the nation's first bottled soda, I believe, from my home state Maine.

Fantastic food and service. I might have waited 3 minutes to be seated. Food was hot and came quickly. Cassandra is a great waitress. This is the one on Lynnhaven Parkway. The only one I recommend in the area.

Food was very good and my dad loved it

This was my first time ordering from them and never again i went through door dash. The photo on the left is what it is suppose to look like well i got the one on the right delivered to me. No bacon pieces, no dressing and the salad looks prepared super fast and super lazy. Door dash credited me but this is no okay. The employees working need to focus on the meal at task this looks rushed and items missing. Big disappointment safe to say my first and last time ordering from here

Really deserves a negative rating honestly. By far the absolute worst experience at any Cracker Barrel that I have visited. To begin we were told the wait was 45 mins. After an hour and 15 mins went to check on the estimated wait time and was told that they forgot to add us to the list. We were told that they would put us back on the list but would be at least 15 more mins. I asked to speak with the manager and let her know what was going on. She was kind enough to go ahead and get us seated in a closed section however our party of 6 and three children were seated at a six chair table. We put the tables together ourselves so that the entire party could sit down. We were then given 3 menus to share. I will say our waitress did her best to make things right and was very attentive. However we were brought out plastic silverware and told that was all they had for us to eat with. We arrived at the restaurant at 715 pm and we finally left the restaurant at 10:20 pm. Both toddlers were extremely tired and hungry by the time we received our meals at 9:52 pm. This is one of my favorite chain restaurants however after this experience I am not sure that I will return. An apology or some form of acknowledgement of the wrong doing would have went far in this situation.

Service and food were very good

Daughter got sick. Wife's pot pie looked like vomit. Ordered to go and hopefully it will be the last time. Previous two times ordered Chicken fried chicken and they forgot the gravy both times. Chicken fried chicken without gravy is just boneless chicken breast! Also both those times I ordered the fried chicken and it looked and tasted like they had used old cooking oil on the chicken. I don't know if its a sign of the times , but this place has gone down hill. Can't be a staff shortage, employees standing around and talking every where's.
