Visiting VA for the weekend, my brother told me about this fast food restaurant(Cook Out), and said that they had a good chicken sandwich. So I wanted to see how Cook Out's chicken sandwich compared to Popeye's. I bought two, the REG. and SPICY CHICKEN sandwiches. While I definitely recommend both, and Cook Out overall, Popeye's is still the chicken sandwich champ.
Please separate your meats from non meat items. My Vegetarian friend had a MEAT quasaida mixed with cheese quasaidas and had a bad reaction because you guys didn't separate the order and forgot the fires. I Won't be returning to this location.
$4.77 for a plain double burger with no cheese? I know y'all don't post prices but I'm pretty sure I ordered the same sandwich with bacon cheese last week for the same price. Got up to the window and asked about it and was told that's just how it is. I was $0.30 short and had to drive home. I've seen these burgers. They are like half the size of any other Burger I've ever seen. Y'all are right down the street. I was just hungry. Come on now!
I went to cook out and oder 2 milkshake and my total amount was 7 and some change and I accidentally gave the cashier 27 dollars thinking I was 8 dollars and I didn’t realize I gave the cashier $5 $2 dollar bill and a $20 until I pull of. And the cashier didn’t even said anything and kept my money. It was sketchy because they were rushing to give me my milkshake. They are not honest employees and can’t be trusted.
Is this like the perfect sandwich or what lol…they was extremely nice. I have no idea how to order at cookout and they wasn’t rude about it. And this sandwich was soooooo good, it was a chicken tender sandwich. The coleslaw was good too…and my fries was hot. They get the 5 stars from me
The speaker system in the drive thru is ridiculous. It is way too loud, I feel like I’m cut off constantly when I’m trying to speak. This is true for every cookout I have ever been to, however, today was especially frustrating because the employee asked for my order, and when I was giving it, he interrupted me three times saying “hold on a sec.” If you are not ready to take my order, please stop asking me to tell you my order. Listen to the customer first, then ask questions/talk on the mic.The food is good, but you all need to work on your customer service.
It's cookout. The food is cheap the service is quick. It's like every other cook. I wish they wouldn't have closed the indoor dining at this location. I prefer to go inside than to wait in a long drive-thru line.
Whether it's under new management or what, but this location sucks. 4 orders a food consisted of barbeque sandwiches, extremely delicious, if only there was enough barbeque to cover the small bun? Chicken nuggets that were hard enough to hammer nails and 4 little onion rings each that were dried up inside???. Sorry Cookout, but you really dropped the ball.
First time here. Absolutely perfect for a quick burger and fries. The cheese bites are fantastic, and the sake was more like a large cup of ice cream! All for just over $20 for three people. Fantastic!
Worst cookout in the area. Always has the longest line and messes up orders. Like ordering a chicken sandwich getting a cheeseburger type messing up. Go to the one of military highway instead.
