Food was what we expected except for shrimp and grits. No flavor. Small portion. Vegetables added were not cooked at all, raw. Soft shell crabs were good, but the side portions of potatoes and corn were non-existent as was the tartar sauce. Desert was good. Overall the restaurant not nearly as good as what we previously experienced.
One of my favorite dishes at Coastal Grill is the Old Bay Shrimp. I ordered that last Friday night and was disappointed that two of the shrimp still had the black vein in it. Improperly cleaned food is not an appetizing sight. UGH!
Great food, wonderful service, beautiful atmosphere - very accommodating hostess - gave us a great table. Soft shell crab, leg of lamb, profiteroles and fantastic wine made for a perfect experience.
We had wonderful unobtrusive perfect service. The food was just great as was the wine selection. We would highly recommend eating here.
