First off I would like to say I am a food connoisseur. I visited this restaurant a few days ago and I was so impressed by the service and the food! The wait staff was very friendly. The food OMG I had to eat it slow to savor EVERY bite. I ordered the classic egg breakfast with bacon and home fries and a biscuit. Everything was cooked to perfection. The bacon was crispy, the eggs were fluffy, the home fries were very well seasoned and the biscuit was homemade and so DELICIOUS! Southern food at its best! I have told EVERYONE about this restaurant. SUPERB!!! Bringing the whole family next time!!! I can't stop thinking about this restaurant. I am about 45 minutes away but sooooo worth the drive!!! :) If I lived closer I would definitely be a regular!!! I would like to thank the owners for making delicious homemade food that doesn't skip on taste!!! LOVE IT!!!
My husband and I visited this diner for the first time on 05/14/2022. We like eating at diners. The food was really good but the service was excellent. The servers were very attentive and came by frequently to ask if we needed anything. My husband had the house outlet with potatoes and I had the french toast deluxe. Everything was very good. The place was clean. It has an old-fashion look and feel. They were very busy but we didn’t have a long wait to be seated. We would definitely eat there again.
A 50s vibe, but not necessarily a facade, the Classic Diner feels down to earth and authentic. The breakfast, the Classic Hungry Man Special, is very filling and a good deal. I also recommend the sausage patty. Delicious! Servers were polite and the food did not take too long to arrive. Atmosphere was pleasant! Overall, this place would make you feel good in the morning!
I went there for breakfast before I went to school and let me tell you, it was amazing! The customer service was amazing. This one waitress is probably the best waitress/waiter I've ever had. I wish I got her name. The food was amazing and the wait wasn't even that long. The environment of the place was very welcoming and peaceful. I place looks like a place where you'd go eat in the 70's-90's and it's amazing. It felt kind of illegal or like I had no manners if I had my phone out. I will definitely be coming back :))
We stopped in for a late weekday breakfast based on other reviews and we were not dissapointed. The place was quite busy. We were greeted and seated quickly. Service was friendly and fast. Food was very good, try the sausage links, and our coffee was always full.
I've eaten here so many times now I think its a crime I've never left a review. I've made it my mission to try every breakfast item on their menu at least once for the past few years. This small littler diner is reasonably priced for the great classic breakfasts they provide. I definitely recommend visiting them but make sure to come early as they fill up pretty quickly
Good food, service, and atmosphere. Great for breakfast and lunch. Love that they serve fried potatoes.
Stopped here on a Sunday morning while visiting in the area. Really nice people working there, pleasant and efficient too. Lots of smiles. So that got things started in the right direction. A good breakfast selection on the menu, it was hard to choose. I went with a 'Country Omelet' with two eggs (the normal one has three. With wheat toast and home fries. I could not have expected the portions to be any larger, or the taste to be better. Hey, the place isn't fancy but who wants a fancy diner???? If in the area again, I would make a point of patronizing this fine little place in a strip shopping center.
Only ordered a couple things. I love hot pastrami, tried it on toasted bread. Just not the same as on a sub. Staff are very friendly though. ?
Been here 2 days in a row. Yesterday was packed so we got here early this morning. The food and service are amazing. Best burgers ever!
