I ordered a General Tso tofu with brown rice and a small vegetable fried rice. I do not have anything to compare the tofu to as I was trying it for the first time but it wasn’t flavorful at all even in the sauce and it was chewy and hard in some spots. Parts of my brown rice was hard and vegetable fried rice must mean ONIONS with under cooked peas and carrots none of the vegetables were cooked thoroughly not even the broccoli everything had a crunch the color of the peas should have been a dead give away ? I was so hungry but this lunch was a let down maybe I will have to go later in the day for better taste and quality. I arrived at about 11:30 for lunch ordered in store and waited for my food ??♀️
I work a few doors down and come here when I can. The staff is always super nice and the food is always prepared perfectly. Along with that, there's free tea so no complaints here. I highly recommend this place and everything they serve. Far none, the best.
Best Asian cuisine in the shore drive area. Make sure to get there wontons and hot chili oil and dim sum. Great portions and great flavor.
Some of the best Chinese takeout anywhere. They do not widely use MSG in their food preparation. Mono sodium glutamate, for many has symptoms ranging from irritability, fatigue and worse.Chen’s Wok does not use this! The flavor of their dishes, lends authenticity rather than masked by artificial flavor enhancers.Try their food, you will be a loyal customer
I have ordered from this restaurant twice before and the food was great. Yesterday I spent $57 on lunch and almost everything was awful. The only two items that were good were the white rice and the outside of the wonton for the wonton soup, the inside was terrible as well. The lomein lacked flavor and some of it had a chemical taste. The shrimp and broccoli tasted off as if it were on the verge of spoiling but had one more day left. I could go on but just know that the quality was not what I was used to and no, I did not finish the food.

Probably the best Chinese-American style food you can find in Virginia. If you're looking for authentic Chinese takeout this is the best it gets!
You can actually eat inside & use the restroom. That's already a win in my opinion.
