This was me and my fiancés first time eating the food here and holy cow it was amazing! We ordered the arroz con pollo (c4 on the menu) to go and it was seriously so good that halfway through I started to wish I got my own plate instead of having to share ? the chicken was so tender and juicy, full of flavor and spices, the tomato and onion salad had a great flavor too, not bland at all and was really tasty to eat on top of the rice. Service inside was amazing when we ordered, and the woman at the front was so helpful when we asked what we should order. One of our new favorite places!
I ordered the 1/4 chicken with fried yuca and plantanos maduros. It was SO delicious! We ate in and it was served quickly. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The yuca was delicious by itself or with the green sauce. The plantanos were amazing. The prices were reasonable and affordable. I will definitely return soon!
Chicken tacos and pollo Saltado were amazing! The chef was helpful going over the menu with us. Yummy!
First, I'd like to say it has a very nice and comfortable atmosphere. Very clean. Cute decor. There were two other customers when we arrived. I ordered the pollo saltado with fried rice and the tuna saltada with fried rice and a side of fried yuka. After we ordered i was asked to give a five star review before we left the building. Mind you, we have not gotten our food yet. As we waited he reminded me several times to give the 5 star review. The wait was pretty quick. I had the chicken dish. The chicken was very good, warm and juicy. However i felt the rest of the dish was very bland. I was expecting more flavor and some peruvian spices. But sadly nothing special. My bf got the tuna dish. He was very dissappointed with the lack of tuna. It was only a couple little chunks of tuna and a huge helping of the rice. He said the flavor was pretty good just not enough meat. Overall our true experience without being bribed is average at best. Not sure when or if we will be back. The food was just okay nothing special to bring us back.
Easily the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life. Excellent delicious food options and friendly staff. This place is a must try. I will definitely be returning in the very near future.
This place has some of the best plantains I’ve ever had, the yucca side was perfect, we tried a variety of dishes from the beef heart, to the chicarron, to the famous charcoal chicken and I can say without a doubt we were blown away with the flavors and perfect cook on every dish. (And yes, the corn is amazing). Their spiced, house-made drinks are much like spiced cider but much more refreshing! Thank you! We will be back for more! :)P.s. I’m a little soft spoken and I couldn’t speak loud enough to be heard over the music. I apologize for repeating myself so much lol
Food was great. Service was ok, but slow. Parking was good and prices were above average. I guess prices are going up everywhere. The flavor was tastey. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
I’d give them 100 stars if I could! Great Rotisserie Chicken… nothing like the kind you find cooked in the deli section of supermarkets. The chicken a much better quality and of course a much higher price. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Jay the manager is outstanding, wonderful and a foodie with a culinary background. The waitress was super helpful and kind…unfortunately, I can’t recall her name. The sides were delicious as well. Tasty lentils.
The chicken is pretty good. The yellow sauce needs some much needed improvement. It is too sweet/tangy. Needs to a little thicker and spicier. Probably need more Peruvian yellow pepper and less mustard.
The food is good but the portions are way too small. 4 pieces of yuca as a side is not enough. I’ve been here twice and was still hungry after eating both times.
