Bodacious Bakehouse is located in the Aragona Village Shoppes in the Aragona area of Virginia Beach. This is located along Virginia Beach Blvd. about a mile or so west of the intersection of Virginia Beach Blvd. and Independence Blvd. My visit to this location was on May 12, 2022. Although this is the first time I have been to this place, I have actually had quite a bit of food from them in the past when they were at my work as a regular food truck visitor pre-pandemic before starting to work from home. My experiences with them as a food truck were phenomenal. They were very popular at my work too. Many of us would always ask if they would be getting a permanent location as well. As we were going into the pandemic, that happened. I did learn that ownership had changed hands, but it was definitely the same Bodacious Pizza that I was accustomed to from the food truck. Fast forward to entering the physical location. It wasn't too busy at the time, but there was a good amount of takeout orders going on. It took us a few moments to look at what we wanted. We were here on a Thursday, so they had a buy one calzone, get one half off special. In the end, my mom and I both went with Pepperoni Calzones to take advantage of the special. After ordering was completed, we went to an open table to wait for the food to come out, as they would bring it to us once it was ready. Several minutes later, the calzones were hot and ready, and they were brought to the table. Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes were already available on all the tables. It was time to dig in. It took a few moments to start as it came out piping hot, which is a great way to get it, especially when it wasn't burnt either. It looked awesome. I was hungry coming in, so I thought I would actually finish the whole thing in this visit. I was wrong. It was very filling and delicious. It definitely reminded me of the pizzas from the food truck days. I was able to devour half of it, and the other half would be eaten a few days later. Overall, this was an excellent experience. The food and service were excellent. I know the decor in there is simple, but it's the food and service that matters more to me. If you are in this area of the city and looking to get some good food, this place is definitely worth coming to. They have more than just pizza items, so be sure to check out the full menu. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
LOOKS ARE DECEIVING!! We came here because the reviews were good, the food looked good in the pictures, and my oldest daughter said the baked goods were good. From the pictures below, it looked good, but the only thing that tasted good was the mozzarella sticks! What makes a good pizza is the sauce, but the sauce was more of a paste that had no flavor and the dough on the bottom was not cooked long enough! My pizza was the meat lover, but the cook forgot the ham and bacon, so he just cooked some on the side and put it on the top and didn't even put it back in the oven! My daughter ate one slice of hers and said it was bland, so we took them home to doctor them up. The fried green tomatoes were just flour-battered (that was not sifted) and fried with a very thin slice of a red ripe tomato! The only good thing about the visit was the cashier/server was very friendly and nice and made you feel welcome! I don't think we'll come again.?
Fantastic experience. If you are vegan, and even if you are not, you have got to go here. Best vegan chicken nuggets I've ever had. BEST vegan ranch I have had. Hands down. Great local beer. The calzone was FIRE and to top it all off, the staff was exceptional. 10/10. Really laid back vibe inside and definitely family friendly as well.
This place was awesome! Super nice staff and they had superb service. The pizza was also amazing and great for the price! I will definitely be coming back!
I want to love this place but I can't. They used to serve the absolute best french toast in the industry and then Covid came and they stopped serving breakfast shortly thereafter. For being a pizza place though there should be much more to talk about regarding their pizza but there isn't. It's pizza. The crust is honestly the part they do best, the rest of it is lacking in flavor. I've tried a few different pizzas over the years of coming here but they are not my first choice.
Went for an early dinner. The pizza was pretty good. The garlic knots so so. The cookies were hard as rocks. The restaurant was clean. It does seem like this restaurant is no longer a dine in restaurant and just mainly a pick up an order because when you do eat and you only get paper plates and it doesn’t really seem like that many people go dine in any more

This place is amazing. My husband and I came here for the first time tonight. The pizza was the best I've had the mozzarella sticks were insanely perfect. For the garlic knots I have no words were how amazing they were. The service was fast and extremely friendly. Kimberly and the staff made this place even better. I 100% recommend.
I had an excellent birthday dinner at Bodacious Bakehouse. Everyone in my family loved it. The vegan choices are excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!
