Went here for lunch at the suggestion of my daughter who lives down here at VA Beach and so glad we did. Food was DELICIOUS & service was awesome!! Our server Chantel was super cool and the bartenders Rihanna & Megan was so funny and fixed a nice Tito's / cranberry. I got the Brunch tacos, while my daughter got the Jamaican Rum French toast (which I'll be getting next time) and definitely no complaints on either. Adding Bay Local to my 'Faves' ???

Wowwwwwwwww! I AM A FOODIE! Honeyyyyyyyy as far as places in the United States…I’m going to be bold enough to rank this place amongst the top 3! Yes it’s really that good! Hold on to your coattails folks, I’m about to give you allllll the hot tea! First of all when you come in the lines are through the door and there will be a wait! DO NOT LEAVE! The host staff are sooo kind, they move very quickly and they have this quaint little waiting area that features a bar! I mean the owners literally thought of everything! It gives major beachside hospitality and relaxed vibes! Thennnnn once you sit down, the servers are incredible! They work together, so you can grab anyone and they will assist your table! My server was Kendra! Y’all!!!! Kendra was incredible! My friends all ordered drinks and I ordered a flavored tiramisu shortbread latte! Lawdddd have mercy it was so good, I was sipping slowly…I didn’t want the drink to end! Lol! My friends all loved their drinks, they ordered more! Now let get to the real reason y’all came here…THE FOOD! We ordered four apps, the banging crab balls, calamari, spinach crab dip and the wings! Look EVERY single item was flavored incredibly! The dip comes with homemade seasoned warm pita chips! You knowwww food I about to be good when they take time to season the bread! The appetizers tasted like a chef at the Cordon Bleu flew in just to make my meal! Soooo serious! Then we ordered our meals! Shrimp and grits with scallops (yes fresh scallops) and Grilled Oyster Melt!!! I never had so much deliciousness in my mouth EVER! The tacos had so much food on the plate, they set it up like a build your own taco station! The tots, grits, fries or home fries that come with your food are WELL seasoned! And thennnnn they have the nerve (don’t shoot the messenger) to make beignets BETTER than they do in NOLA. They don’t use powdered sugar…they use cinnamon sugar!!! I was at the table, licking my fingers like an uncivilized human being and I DID NOT CARE! Do not miss the opportunity to eat here! This is gourmet food in the heart of Virginia Beach! The food, service, portions and ambience are worth the wait!!! Don’t cheat yourself, treat yourself! Dine here, your tastebuds will thank you later!
Had the pleasure of eating there today. Our waitress Natalie was wonderful beyond measure! Just great staff all together. Food knocked my taste buds out the park! I had shrimp and grits. What I also liked was that Natalie suggested another item for my meal and included that it would cost a little extra, many places won't do that. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

While visiting friends in Virginia Beach, this restaurant was recommended for its excellent breakfast featuring local seafood. I had a great fried oyster omelet and my wife had the blue crab ‘benie’. Service was very good and efficient. This is a local must do.
? This place never disappoints. From the menu to the staff it’s definitely one of my favorite places to have breakfast. Everyone is friendly and quick to serve. The drinks are yummy and the location is adorable and eclectic. It’s definitely on the top of my where should we go eat list.
This is the best place to eat for brunch in Virginia Beach hands down. We tried four different dishes here and they were all amazing. They have a great happy hour. We received great customer service and the ambience was great!
My Family had a beautiful meal at the Laskin Road location this afternoon. Our Server was Joey and when I tell you this young Man was excellent at his job, I mean it. Our food, drinks and service were top notch. We see you and appreciate you Bay Local..,❤️❤️❤️???
Great customer service, food, & mimosas!! My sister & I came here for our first Mother’s Day without our mother & it was nothing but great vibes the whole time!! We will be back for sure!!!
After 7 days of eating out on vacation & trying a couple resturants every day. This was one the best. We stopped to eat her on our way back to Seattle, WA. Staff was freindly & great. The food was super good. My kids got blueberry pancakes and chicken and walffes. They super happy. My husband got big breakfast (forgot what it was called) But he loved it and i treid the Smoked Salman BLT, It was the BOOM... 10 out 10 Only thing i ask is Can you guys open a resturant here in Seattle .. lol
