This place was recommended to me by a friend. He said it was the best burger place in VB. We popped in for lunch and it was just as good as he said. We got three different burgers, two with gluten free buns. We also got the tots, fries, and sweet potato fries. They were all delicious, but hands-down the sweet potato fries with the honey dip was the BEST. Literally melted in our mouths!!!!! Only "negative" - all three burgers were cooked one temperature more than we ordered. Didn't matter because they were juicy and just fine. We will return. Happy this place is in our neighborhood!
Took my daughter out for a burger and we found Barrel 17. It was pretty busy when we went and the waitress asked if we had been told about the kitchen during our wait time. Told her no, we hadn't heard about issues sand she explained the kitchen was behind due to other large orders and some other things. We were fine and waited on appetizers while talking. They serve Wagyu beef burgers so the food was good, just wish the burger was bigger as I was looking forward to. Staff was pleasant and overall good experience here. Good location as well.
Huge delicious burgers! Good healthier options too. I had the Thai chicken wrap which was delicious. Kids had burgers which they loved. Very good!
Tried Barrel 17 and OMG! The food was so good that I forgot to take a picture. I will definitely return. Amazing burgers and great service.
Despite the long wait, the food redeemed the entire experience. They have a great mixed drink menu. My friends tried 3-4 kinds and they were all equally delicious. The jammin goat burger was amazing. Great if you enjoy a sweet and savory combination. The whiskey burger was also solid. Onion rings were A+ I don't know what's in the batter but I wanted more. If I ever visit again, I would want to come again for sure.
The burgers were absolutely amazing. I got the Whiskey burger (pictured below) and my friend got the Jammin' one. Both were delicious and very different. We also got the blackened tuna appetizer and it was wonderful. My only note was that the tuna said it would come on a bed of power greens, but it came on a few pieces of romaine lettuce.. Overall, yummy food and good service.
Wow! Amazing. Didn't get pictures of everything but their jumbo pretzel is banging and hands down the beat chilli cheese tots I have had! Their grilled cheese and fries have a little special twist to their taste that makes them not your every day casual bar food. I was stuffed by the time our meals came but I couldn't help but keep eating. His double cheeseburger & tots were great too. Hands down and must while down at the Ocean Front in Virginia Beach!
WOW! Three letters that explain the food perfectly. Most likely one of the best cooked burgers I’ve ever had, and i eat a LOT of burgers. I love finding hidden gems like these! Mmmm, i am still in shock of how good it was!
Oh my goodness this place is awesome! I am from out of town & my husband and I ate dinner there one night and it was absolutely delicious! The wait staff was great and very delightful. We were waited on by the owners niece. She was a very nice young lady. We had a mixed drink and it was really good. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant if your in town. Don't miss out!!!
This is my new favorite place to grab lunch or an early dinner. I honestly have to say their biggest win is their food. Some of the best and highest quality bar food I've had in a long time. Not quite as much of a beer selection as I'd like, but they serve the good standards and favorite craft brews. The Happy Hour deals on drinks are solid as well.
