Nice place, delicious food, nice staff. I like so much. A group of 13 people visited them and everyone was happy with the service.
Wonderful aroma to start an even better eating experience. Get a hot tea and save room for a shareable piece of Moroccan chocolate cake. Yum! Helpful staff, suggested great flavor combination for appetizer and entree. Looking forward to another experience!
I can see why this restaurant was given the honor of best Greek restaurant in Virginia Beach. My husband and I are celebrating our anniversary and since we met here and our favorite El Greco is gone we asked our friend Google. This is just over the top the best!!
Incredible flavors and quality. Service was excellent as well. I had a couple of vegan dishes and they were well developed in flavor and presentation. Will return for sure!
Everything was delicious at Baladi! I visited when on a work trip and it was the highlight of the trip. I had the grape leaves and falafel encrusted tofu. So full of flavor and a creative take on unique dishes. The chef/owner was so friendly and visited all the tables. I'm so sad I'm not local because I'd be a regular! I volunteered to return on the next business trip as long as we could visit Baladi again! Definitely 5 stars and highly recommend!
Not happy with Baladi this evening. Ordered a salad and two appetizers and it’s been over an hour and they still can’t get it together. They didn’t seem to be rushing at all or even worrying that much about my order. They never even offered anything to me to compensate. And on top of that, the tall girl gives Me attitude, honey, there’s something in America called The Customer is Always Right! and that’s how you run a good business in America. I even bought a bottle of their olive oil. I’ve given this place many chances/in the summer they have no air-conditioning in the winter they’re heating doesn’t seem to work. They need to learn some thing called customer service. Not happy thumbs down??????
Nice surprise for our first time dining here. We will be back to try other delicious menu items. Unfortunately I did not like the chocolate cake and the Baklava was just ok, but the food was so good we cannot wait to return.
What a gem! Had a business lunch on a cold rainy day! The lentil soup was fantastic and the spicy seafood wrap even better!! A must visit place with outstanding service as well!
Absolutely awesome. Authentic but not intimidating. Can’t believe we have missed this. Fresh bread with spicy Jalopeno cilantro hummus. Specialty cocktails done right with garnishes. Generously portioned entrees. Basmati rice with spices that was aromatic and amazing. Fish cooked perfect, thick and juicy. Small, dim lit with full bar.
Friendly staff great service and excellent food with very large portions!! The waiter found out it was my birthday and brought over 2 desserts to our table. One for me and a vegan option for my son. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely go again!!
