Food was delicious very warm inside no air-conditioning it was in the 90s outside they just had fans. Before u order a beer make sure ask if it's cold I was given a warm beer off the shelf n told that how it's served on my visit before this one.this time no beer my ice water was cold tho.but staff is very friendly, food is very good a bit pricey but everything is now . I probably won't go back in summer heat I have heart condition need ac to be comfortable. See ya wen it cools down
Wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Nice little shop as you go in plus bakery.Servers were fast, polite, checked on our drinks. Food was excellent the menu had a variety of eats.Outdoor seating if you like to sit out. We sat inside comfortable chairs.A bit of fun for my weekend ?
We visited here for my wife's birthday and I was not disappointed. The place is beautifully decorated with an intimate atmosphere. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. And the staff was friendly and attentive and went out of their way to make sure my wife's birthday was special.
I had a wonderful experience for lunch, my waitresses name was Bobbi. Food was delicious, I loved the menu! I'm from Carolina and I've been patiently waiting...and I wish I would've came sooner. Salads sandwiches pasta yum yum yum, and not to mention a great cocktail menu. Beautiful and refreshing atmosphere as well!
This review is long over due. We’re regulars. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve been there. I’ve read some of the not to nice reviews and in my opinion they couldn’t be further from the truth. The entire wait staff is very nice & accommodating. Yes our food takes longer to come to the table, but that is ONLY because it’s fresh food. And honestly the time flies by. I’m always the complicated customer that always asked for extra sauces etc, my husband always jokes saying “I constantly have a complicated order”—with that being said they always deliver to my needs within reason and my meal is always out of this world yummy. My kids always love their food, as well as my husband. Their drinks are great. Their desserts are so delicious. We love their lunch menu, their dinner menu is yummy AND their to go services!!!!—let’s just say they package their food so perfectly and in a timely manner that by the time you get home it’s just as good as you sitting in the restaurant eating it. I might be bias so I invited my parents and they LOVED the food AND I took my in laws when they came into town and they to LOVED everything they ate. Just take my advice and come to back bay gourmet! We’ve pretty much tried the entire menu and every dish is out of this world yummy. You definitely won’t regret it.
Just found this gem and we had a wonderful dining experience. The charcuterie board was the best we have ever had at a restaurant. The menu looked delicious and we were really impressed with how delicious our meals were. The setting is indeed quaint and we plan to be repeat customers.
Friendly staff, beautiful building but we waited an hour+ for our food. The whiskey butter or whatever it was tasted off and my steak was cooked well done instead of medium-well. I did love the potatoes and mixed veggies. The Victoria Secret tasted like cough syrup. ?? The desserts looked amazing but we didn't try those. Overall, everyone enjoyed their dinner. I will give them a second chance, just maybe no steak next time. ?
Highky recomended by a friend and regret not coming sooner! The Gold Rush drink was on point, the Pork Chop was the nightly special and hand down best pork chop I have ever eaten! The parm risotto 10 stars! Husbands filet, WOW! EVERYTHING was great. Althoguh we were too stuffes for deserts we certianly took some home for us and the kids, even bought a frozen meal for dinner tomorrow night. They have such cute things to shop for while there. If you haven't been you MUST!
Absolutely love the food especially the brunch items. Always a clean and beautiful place. Love that they offer bigger portions of the soup Togo when I'm feeling lazy. Good wine options. Love the friendly staff. Recommend checking them out
I am a regular here! The food may take a bit, but that’s the price you pay for freshly made food not sitting under a heating lamp. My wine is always fantastic , crisp and sparkling, and my food is always hot and delicious ! This is my go to place for drinks at the bar, or a weekly lunch. I love the gift shop and the feels it gives while you’re sitting there having a fantastic glass of wine. The owner & Shannon (manager extraordinaire) are lovely.
