The ube crinkle cookies were insane! Sooooo good. We got ensemada which were good as well...I got the pepperoni bread for some nostalgia and lastly a babinka that was great too. Nice clean interior and friendly bright staff. We will return.
Ube bread. The Spanish bread and pepperoni rolls are worth the trip. Ube latte was good too. And garlic nuts !
Maaaaaaaaan...what can I say? First is that ube latte. Oowee!! So good. Straight jet fuel! And you can't go wrong with any of the food choices. Pepperoni bread. Bibingka. Pandesal. Hopia with everything from ube to pineapple and apple pie filled. Prices are reasonable. The staff is super friendly and patient. And tell Kenny I said "Hey"
The staff here is sooo nice! It was hard not to buy one of everything, which wouldn't have been TOO bad since the prices are really great. I thought the coco bread especially was AMAZING and had me hooked from my first bite. The store was very cute and very clean, and had two comfy chairs for sitting in. I would definitely say anyone should stop by Angie's, earlier in the day especially since both times I've gone they have been steadily busy! Makes sense because everything is SO GOOD.
AMAZING BAKERY! Their pork roll was INSANE. I WISH I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT MORE!
If I was a billionaire I’d still go out of my way to get this ube latte on a regular basis. Ken, who makes it, is a master at his craft and makes it perfectly with the right amount of sweetness. Be sure to show this hard working family a lot of love because businesses like this should be encouraged and continue to thrive.
Can't go wrong with anything and everything ube!! Yum! Pepperoni roll was pretty great too. Can't wait to go back and try some more stuff. The woman behind the counter was super customer service friendly and helpful.
The Hidden Gem of Virginia Beach ?. Fast and delicious. You can order inside, you can preorder and pick up. They have soooo much to offer. Very friendly stuff, just ask questions and they will explain what you looking at ?. I am not so much familiar with Filipino Baking Goods so I was one who needed guidance. For my teenagers Pande hotdogs, Pepperoni Bread. For me Baked Siopao chicken and pork, melted in my mouth ☺️. Do not forget to get Ube Latte!!
Delicious. First time we have ever been. Their pepperoni bread is the best I have ever had. So buttery soft and cheesy. Hard to describe, but you have to try it. The ladies there were very helpful and patient explaining the different treats. The mini apple pie treat was good. I loved all we tried. And don't forget the ubi rolls!
Wow! The customer service is outstanding. The place is clean. The dairy-free cappuccinos and mocha lattes are the best we’ve ever had. My husband said it’s because the guy who made it didn’t burn the espresso. He made it the way it’s meant to be made - and perfectly. They also came with a beautiful heart flowery design in the foam! That was a lovely touch they we both appreciated.I’ve never had Phillipino pastries before, except once at a friend of ours’ party. So, wanting something new different, for a fun day date,we Googled bakeries. This place was open during the “snow day” when Virginia shut down for a week because we got 4 inches of snow!We ordered two different flavors of every type of pastry, to try each pastry made two ways, in flavors we already know we like. We shared each pastry. With no place to dine-in, we brought them home.Let me tell you, I’m a picky eater and have tons of food allergies, so finding things I can and WANT to eat is a feat. This place will have repeat customers in us because the pastries and coffees are exceptional! The chicken one on the right in the first window is so good, I wish we had ordered several of those. The apple pie flavored small ones on the far left are my second favorite. My husband’s fav was the pepperoni pizza one on the right. The huge pineapple danish type of thing was oh my goodness yummmmmy. The sponge cake was my least favorite, but the flavor of it was amazing. It was a lil fireworks display in my mouth! I would have liked it better if it was a different texture. I guess I don’t like sponge cake because I couldn’t get over the dense, dry spongy texture. The cream cheese in it made it better, but it needs to be more moist with more cream cheese to offset the sponge.I want to get more of the chicken things already! The other thing we didn’t try because I know we already will like the donut things, but we’ll get those next time with the astride we now love.It was also not expensive for a really cool date! I paid $30 for everything. We will do TGIF again :)
