Tucked away in a quiet courtyard with indoor and outdoor seating, quiet and private for a late Saturday lunch. I’m sure this place is hopping on a normal business day. House ramen in the spicy Chinese spicy soup style. Tender brisket, bok choi steamed but still crunchy, al dente noodles and a delightful spicy broth. Envious of their soy egg technique (perfect golden soft yolk) that I have not yet perfected. Staff attentive but not hovering. Clean and orderly, well maintained bathroom facilities. Totally made my afternoon.
Extremely recommended!I’m a Taiwanese and I love their beef noodle a loooooot. There are tons of juicy and softy beef shanks. The noodle is super elastic, and the broth is rich and hot.It reminds me the beef noodle of Taipei. I know it’s a ramen place but the beef noodle is fantastic
Super quick service! Had the miso ramen & asked for it spicy. It was the perfect spice level. 4 stars only because the pork was a bit too fatty. But don’t let that deter you - this was seriously delicious! Can’t wait to come back for more.
I am a big fan of ramen in general. So i decided to go here since I was in the area. Now their chashu was different compared to the other places I've been to, but it was not bad. I had the curry ramen and asked for it to be spicy. And the broth was very rich and flavorful. Also the matcha milk tea was very pleasant. The only complaint which is not the restaurants fault was parking. But overall very satisfied.
Really good food, presentation, and service! Calamari and tonkotsu are perfectly crisp. Would definitely recommend. It’s a sweet spot in McLean area!
I tried their spicy beef noodle the first time. I was BLOWN AWAY!!! Sooooo delicious, I would recommend trying their non-traditional ramen.
Cute establishment with a modest assortment of appetizers and rice and noodle based dishes. Ramen noodles were nice and chewy and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I hope it stays in business because I have lots more to try on their menu! Ramen, fried rice,, crab salad, and chicken karaage were all a hit!
Decor and restaurant layout is nice and modern. Menu was simple enough and doesn't overwhelm you.The ramen we ordered (spicy tonkatsu and normal tonkatsu) wasn't anything to write home about. The broth was hot and the presentation was there but the pork tasted old and the quality of meat wasn't great.
Ordered two ramen bowls, Miso and the spicy beef, and an order of fried rice. Great broth and fresh ingredients. (Spicy isn’t too spicy and you can ask for extra heat) definitely coming back to try more items.
This is the first visit. My dinner partner and I both had the spicy tonkatsu ramen. We both like the springiness of the noodles. The broth was decent. It was flavorful, but lacked the depth and richness. I'd be interested to come back and try their Special Ramen next.
