this place is amazing! we ordered the fried shrimp, fried chicken, popeyes favorite, and french beans. all were incredibly delicious. the chicken and shrimp were really good substitutes, especially the chicken being the most realistic vegan chicken i’ve ever had, texture-wise and taste. the servers were very friendly and attended to our table with great service. we also got raspberry cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious as well, incredibly decadent just like dairy cheesecake. we are definitely going again and would recommend to anyone, vegetarian or not.

Visited this place ack in 2007 and I had forgotten how awesome this place is.The menu will surprise you the delicious taste will shock you. The prices you talk about for a few days. How could it be so delicious yet so frugal in price. Be the judge yourself. Super friendly staff. Cozy ambiance. A must try!!
This was one of the few highlights of our trip. I just planted the sunflower seeds gifted to me from the hostess which reminded me of our visit to Sunflower Vegetarian Restaurant. Everyone that took care of us was friendly and made helpful suggestions. And the décor was an uplifting backdrop to a sun-sational meal! As a vegan and gluten-free enthusiast, it can be difficult to find restaurants that offer decent, let alone gourmet, vegan meals that also satisfy my meat-eating partner while we’re traveling. We were both very satisfied. I’d give this place, from service and dining to decor, more stars if I could. It’s permanently on our itinerary for the next time we travel that way. And the dessert! How could i forget about the dessert. The GF V Key lime Cheesecake was divine! Thank you, Sunflower.

So elated Sunflower is open for dine-in service again!!! THE BEST vegetarian and vegan food in the area with wonderful and kind service. My husband has a tradition of having Sunflower on his birthday, and now we can celebrate here in person again this year!!!
Well the pictures on this listing don’t do it justice because it’s been completely renovated on the inside. But aside from that, the food is absolutely amazing! This has been one of my favorite places for years. I wish I didn’t live so far away. Excellent service, excellent food. 100% my favorite restaurant.
We have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years and the food is always amazing and the staff is excellent. Recently, we had car trouble when we picked up an order and the nice young lady who checked us out helped us with that, too. She went above and beyond and I wanted to publicly acknowledge her and the restaurant. In addition to great food, they have great people who care enough to help. Such kindness is not always easy to find these days. They deserve your business!
We used to go to this restaurant in the late nineties early two thousands. Loved it snd still miss it being close by. We are not vegetarian but the food was excellent!!
Believe it or not, this is my first time eating at an all vegetarian restaurant! AND it was a great first experience! Everything we ordered was delicious ~ the meat alternatives for Crispy Happiness and General Tso's Surprise were veggie-beef and veggie-chicken, and the dumplings and spring rolls were all veggie! They don't do dine-in yet, only takeout, but they do have a few tables outside to eat. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a vegetarian/vegan options in the area.
The food is always fantastic and the service is always fast and friendly. What more could you ask for? I've been going here for 20 years and can't recommend it enough. The General Tso's is my go to dish, but I haven't had a meal I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
