I’m struggling to not give a one star review. The only reason I won’t is because of the chef (Jason) and servers. Our server and chef were absolutely WONDERFUL. My husband called a week and a half prior to our visit and made a reservation for 8 people at 7pm. We arrive at 6:50 and the hostess was confused and said there was no reservation under that name, or for that many people at this time or any other time this evening. We offered to show them our call log and they denied. It’s fine- it’s not the hostesses fault, and I feel bad that she had to deal with this situation. We were told it was going to be “some time” before we were sat, and watched three large parties get sat before us. Again- no problem with these people as their reservations had actually been noted. My problem is that it is my husband’s birthday, and we had family and friends drive and fly into town, and we could have gone anywhere, but it is tradition for us to come here. We ended up having to wait 30 minutes, and when we have to pay for a babysitter, it becomes extra frustrating. Mistakes happen, but there was no apology or anything for a mistake made on their end. Also, I would have sent this in an email, however there is no way to contact this location.

I have been to Sakura so many times with my family and always enjoy it, until yesterday for my daughters Bday. We called on our way there to make reservations because we have about a 35-40 minute drive since we love the Tyson’s location. I was told by the host that there was not need for reservations to come in as walk in. So we arrive and we are told by the extremely rude manager LiLi that there was a wait I then explain to her that I called and attempted to make reservations but her host informed me there was no tables available to walk in. She says back to me well “IF” she said that (as if I was lying) Im sorry but we don’t except reservations before an hour that is our rule extremely rude and nasty even after I told her it was my daughters Bday. She showed no remorse, no sincere apology made us wait 30 minutes and then to top it off we had tables come in after us and had a cook before us. I will not be returning to this location again. Very distasteful manager!!!

Sakura delivers excellence every time. We came here before a concert and it hit the spot. I ordered the chicken hibachi with mushroom appetizer which also comes with soup and salad. The soup is basically a chicken broth with a few mushrooms. The salad has a ginger dressing and is very good. If you order a hibachi entree you also get a choice of appetizer like mushrooms, shrimp, or chicken livers. They also offer sushi made to order. If you do not want to sit at a hibachi seat as they have a separate dining area if your prefer. The portions are very large and cooked to perfection. There is ample parking directly out front and is right off route 7.

The food was good for your typical teppanaki place. Same communal seating as Benihana which I’m not a fan of. I ordered the chicken & shrimp hibachi. The portions are pretty generous.

Great dinning experience. For entrée, we ordered Shrimp Flambe, scallops, and steak.. large quantities but overall didn’t meet our expectations!

The food is not the issue. The restaurant does nothing for social distancing or to seat non-related parties away from one another. Requests to have a separate table will not be accommodated, and they do not spread out tables. One side of the restaurant was packed with full tables but the other side of the restaurant was empty. In this environment and the transmissibilty of Omicron, they should be doing better to keep everyone safe ... staff and patrons.

Food was great! Cook was great! Customer service was good. Only thing they can improve on is giving the customer a little more time to order instead or rushing as soon as you sit down. If it wasn't for that it would be 5 stars. OVERALL it was GREAT!

I’ve ate at two different Sakura’s (one in Tysons and one in Fairfax) and I’ve never had a bad experience at either of them. The food is always fresh and hot and the show they put on while cooking is always awesome. The sushi is also great here. Also the staff has always been friendly and awesome. I recommend this place for good Hibachi and Sushi!

Went to celebrate a friends birthday! Chef and staff made us feel welcome. Tailored the service to an all adult group for a fun night out.

Should be 2.5 stars. Food was good, but service staff and Bar service was definitely not. Sorry. If ur not going for the experience and this Sakura is just one of a couple within driving distance then I would go somewhere else.
