It was good. Loved all the mushroom dishes. Mushroom soup is a must try. Very friendly staff and very welcoming.
I found it to be a great eating local experience. Good value and great customer service.
We came for my birthday this week and were blown away! We’ve been to many of Chef Donna’s restaurants over the decades—he’s still got it. Nancy greeted us like old friends. Jeffrey was an excellent server—his recommendations were spot on. We split the stuffed zucchini blossoms with ricotta to start. For mains, we had squid ink pasta with soft shell crab and risotto with wild mushrooms. Large enough portions for a tasty lunch the next day. We ended with chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious!! We will definitely be returning. In fact, we’ve already recommended it to friends.
Roberto's Ristorante Italiano has a new menu, delicious food, wonderful ambiance, and impeccable service! Jane and I hoped to get the scallops but that was from an earlier menu. We got the Octopus with Potato Foam, Kalamata Olives, Capers, Baby Spinach, and Pesto topped with a vibrant Beet Coral Tuile. The seasonal Wild Mushroom Risotto and Squid Ink Fettucine with the juiciest prawns were delicious and so substantial that we didn’t have room for dessert. We reckon it was the irresistible house-made bread that filled us up. We loved the Pane Sfogliato that was like a brioche with Parmesan. ?
The octopus salad was very impressive. The red net top was made from red beets. The service team was super friendly.
Wonderful dinner last night. Roberto is not only a wonderful chef but also a great host.
Had a wonderful night out at Robert's. I love the diverse fine dining on church street and Robert's is a great addition. I enjoyed their creative and delicious cocktails. I was rewarded for trying something new on the appetizer menu with the fried zucchini flowers. The floral flavor was complimented with the creamy ricotta and texture and richness of the thin fried batter coating. I highly recommend this. I recommend getting reservations as we walked in and we're lucky to get a seat at the bar to dine. The restaurant was busy and it is clear that Vienna is investigating this new spot. The osso buco was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I loved the creative seasonal sides with a cauliflower/broccoli bite to accent the hearty fingerling potatoes. The cheesy mushroom and prosciutto gnocchi was rich, filling and memorable. The salty crunch of the prosciutto really pairs well with the rich and chewy gnocchi. Roberto's is a clear winner with their strategy to keep the fine dining experience married to the seasonal fare and I can't wait to see what the chef does in the future. 10/10 will be back.
Don't miss the the gnocchi with crispy prosciutto and the ricotta stuffed zucchini blossoms and the burrito. Every dish is artfully prepared and served with care. Will go back often!
Wonderful meal, excellent service and warm, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend.
We came here for our 5 year anniversary and it was great! We had the burrata appetizer with gnocchi and beet tortelloni pasta as our entrees. First off, the bread they served was an excellent variety --the parmesan roll was especially tasty. Each dish was wonderfully presented and tasted great. I am not a big beet fan so I was not too sure about the tortelloni but it was as good as it looks. Service was the best I have had in a long time from a restaurant, and they gave us limoncello on the house for our anniversary. Would highly recommend Roberto's if you are looking for an upscale Italian restaurant.
