I was hesitant to try because I was afraid I’d walk out with a tremendous bill and a bit of disappointment for a price point that normally a tad out of my reach. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. Our dishes were incredible. The wait staff delightfully pleasant, considerate, and timely. Comfortable, clean atmosphere made it relaxing, yet not too slouchy. Chocolate cake was literally, I mean literally THE best chocolate cake I’ve ever had. I think of it often….
Fantastic venue. Great steaks and truffle mac & cheese. Great staff!
Great food, relaxing atmosphere, great service!
Absolutely mouth watering and finest of dining! I was skeptical at first since I was under the presumption of a chain type restaurant. But boy was I wrong, I felt I was in a one off high class establishment. This is not place where you should rate food based off price but rather the quality and taste. And did it ever deliver in all categories! Our stomaches begged us not to eat more but we ventured onwards to try as much as we could and every morsel was just as delicious as the last. And the final touch of the cake we had to take home was even better! Highly recommended to any food enthusiast out for a high quality touch of delectable food!
Randy's offers a nice variety of steak and seafood options. If you like oysters and clams, the seafood tower/platter appetizer options are a must try. The scallops are very tasty and both steaks we tried were both tender and flavorful. The Wagyu ribeye cap is so tender and worth the price to try. The NY strip is also a very good cut of meat, it will not disappoint. The ambience inside is warm and inviting, the staff is extremely friendly and for dessert try to the sundae which comes with a tower of topping options. Randy's is a definite stop for the diner willing to spend the extra money for a quality dining experience.
What can I say… this place did not disappoint after trying it for the first time today to celebrate a birthday. The service was incredible. The staff was so kind and attentive to us. They also provided great recommendations off of the menu for us to try.We started with some “pressed” sushi. It was fantastic and I was amazed at how fresh the tuna was. We specifically came here to try the tomahawk steak as well. It was better than we could have imagined and cooked perfectly. I also tried their fish special which was a rock fish with spaghetti squash and a curry sauce. This dish was not my favorite but was still good. Portions are a good size. We ended up taking home some leftovers after our meal.Would definitely come back here again on a special occasion since it is a little on the pricey side but well worth it!
First time here. Nice quiet atmosphere. Surprisingly large portions. The ribeye was well-seasoned and the sides very tasty. We were not prepared for the size of the Ultimate Sunday.
This was incredibly disappointing. We absolutely love all of the GAR restaurants and decided to celebrate an anniversary at this one tonight. Big mistake. The service was great so that wasn’t the issue. The food… sucked. All of it. The bread basket was brought out and there were 2 croissants that looked delicious. But they were over-buttered if that is even a thing. To the point that I didn’t even finish it, which is unheard of since I love croissants. We ordered the meatballs as a appetizer. The focaccia bread that was with it was extremely salty and even the meatballs were salty. It was so weird. My husband and I are not “salt sensitive” so for me to say something is salty means it wasn’t even edible. At this point, I realized we were spending $200 on a dinner that wasn’t even going to be as good as getting 2 steaks at Outback. My husband ordered the filet and crab cake. I ordered the ny strip and we got the Brussels sprouts as a side. I took about 5 bites of my steak and decided I needed to just take it home with me so I can wipe it off. The Brussels sprouts were salty too. The only good thing was my husband’s crab cake. My steak was extremely fatty and my husband said my steak was better than his filet. This was our first and last time coming here. We asked for the check as soon as we could because even the atmosphere was odd. I hope they fire whatever chef was working tonight because the food was absolutely horrid. If I could give it zero stars I would. Very sad about this experience. But…. At least our waiter Kevin was good. Definitely DO NOT recommend. Just save your money and go to McDonald’s.
Everything was scrumptious! We ordered the crab lobster cake, asparagus, steak, and the sweet tea, all was great. I forgot to take pictures, however, I didn't forget to snap the enormous slice of chocolate cake. Oh and the waiter had just the right attentiveness.
I have eaten at all the establishments in the Great American Restaurants group and this is the only one that didn't feel like it reached my expectations. The menu contains some new dishes and a few dishes from the popular menu somewhat "elevated". I had the ribeye and my wife ordered the lobster crab cake. We ordered 3 sides to share the parmrsan truffle duck fat fries, the corn Brulee with bacon which was weird and left me trying to decide if I liked it or not, and the Brussels sprouts and bacon which is one of my go to side at the other restaurants but this was not that. It was but in a salad form with spreads of raw Brussels and red onion with the addition of golden raisins which was a refreshing twist on the original but not what I was expecting. Mains were just ok. The steak was warm not hot when it came to me I declined to send it back because was cooked to the correct temperature inside I didn't want it to go over. Again I prefer the drunken ribeye and overall I at the end of the night I felt like I should have just gone to Patsys which is attached right next door.
