Loved everything! Went for my hubby's birthday while visiting my brother and his family in VA. There was 6 of us. We had reservations and were originally seated in a very tight spot, but were moved to a better table when requested. The grilled calamari was out of this world. The fried was good, too. Salads awesome. I got the butternut squash ravioli which was perfect. Everyone else loved their meals as well. Hubby got lasagna which was also good. Dessert, they brought out 6 chocolate cups with amaretto in the bottom and some cream on top. They were delicious. Service, food, atmosphere was really great. They also sell bottles of wine on the way out for $10. Wasn't disappointed with my choices. Loved it here. 6 adults with several apps, salads, drinks, food and dessert around $200.
The portions are large. The homemade pasta is wonderful. The wine list is reasonable and extensive. There is also many beers on tap.
Got a large pepperoni, extra cheese pie and the first thing we noticed is how small it is! We actually measured it and it was 12". We would have been fine with that if it tasted phenomenal but it was terrible! The crust was doughy and tasteless. The sauce tasted like the canned pizza sauce you buy at the store and the rest was just boring. I honestly was shocked because this place has such great reviews. I am giving it two stars because when I walked in to get the pie I thought it was adorable. Definitely a place we would have gone back to if the pizza was good, but sadly...we were terribly disappointed. Maybe there other food is good?
Great food huge wine list. Casual and good for groups and a cool bar scene. Will return. Lasagne, vegan pasta, pesto seafood and Whole Branzino was had and all liked it.
We had the best dinner…fettuccine was outstanding! Mussels and salad were great as well. The service was fabulous! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Absolutely wonderful place to dine! Staff are very accomodating and pleasant. Food is fabulous. Atmosphere is extremely friendly and inviting. One must make/take the time to experience this unique and memorable establishment. I highly recommend it!
I went here with good expectations based on the overall rating but was so disappointed. Everything appeared to be frozen/pre-made. Dishes came out too fast to be fresh and food was bland. Seems to be another restaurant that has chosen speed and convenience over quality.
Read the menu couldn't wait to eat the pizza my first time here and LastSo disappointed, ordered two pizzas to go, went back to the car noticed one was fine. The other was burnt, (which was mine) and the basil was over cooked. I have worked in restaurants for twenty years I would never send out a pizza like that. The manager wanted to make me another. I said the one in the car would be cold. While waiting for my money which took forever, I asked the lady who I paid doesn't it look burnt she said will I like my pizza crispy I said that is burnt. The other pizza was cold by the time I got home per my family who ate it, and we live around the corner. I had even tipped, but I just said give me the twelve dollars that the menu said it cost. He said here is a dollar for your troubles. I thought seriously that is how you think you fix this situation.
Lovely, friendly place offering great food.
This is a truly first class Italian restaurant that has earned its foreign a half star rating from hundreds of reviewers. My first visit recently with six friends found not a single dish poorly done which is pretty amazing. Everything was good to excellent. The only complaint is the strange lack of bread on your (Italian!) table, you have to order garlic bread instead. My Appetizer photo below is of the incredible carpaccio serve airy plainly with just lemon and olive oil so I did feel it needed a touch of salt but otherwise it was outstanding and beautifully presented.
