This place is amazing!!! Hands down the best dessert I've had in my life. Also has some of the most interesting decorations I've ever seen

I've been coming to Magnolia's since it first opened and have referred so many friends and family to the place, so I was pretty shocked with the downhill quality of the food during my most recent visit. I have pictures from over the years to compare things to and I understand that everyone has been hit hard by the pandemic and inflation, but I would much rather pay a little more or get a smaller quantity than sacrifice the quality of what used to be my favorite dessert place. Granted, I haven't been here in a few months and the last couple times I came were for drinks only, so maybe the change in food isn't necessarily a new thing.I ordered the strawberry toast, which has been a favorite of mine, and was very disappointed with what I got. They used to use really good and fresh bread for the toast, which they'd butter and pour condensed milk on and get nice and crunchy/toasty. This time the bread was plain and very stale, only one or two pieces were soggy with condensed milk (vs golden and crunchy before), and definitely not the soft, high quality bread I was used to. The strawberry cream on top was just ok. The ice cream is still good though. The mango sticky rice used to stand out too, but this time was worse than my neighborhood Thai restaurant (which to be fair, they have excellent mango sticky rice). For $10, I'd expect more. The rice was poorly seasoned and overcooked and they had very little coconut cream on top. It used to come with ice cream but it no longer does - and again, I get it with the pandemic, but at least keep the quality of the product the same! The drinks are as good as I remember them at least. I hope they can do some quality control because there was no wait on a Saturday night (and I used to wait 30+ minutes before) and I hope it's not indicative of waning business.

Classic aesthetic two story afternoon tea experience with incredibly tasty desserts and beverages. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The desserts and cold beverages are works of art from a tasting standpoint and visual standpoint.

It was my first time visiting Magnolia and I had a scrumptious time! The service was quick and responsive and the decorations were really cute! I had the Nutella Banana Waffle, but just a heads-up that most of the items on their menu are expensive

We had a great time today coming for the first time. The environment is really nice and the sandwiches, desserts and drinks were delicious and well presented. The music was also nice. My family and I loved it and will repeat for sure.

A mixed experience. The dessert we ordered (Tokyo Matcha Waffle) was pretty good as well as the coffee. However, when the bill came we were surprised with the way they charge (or attempt to charge their gratuity). As you can see on the attached picture, our original bill came already with a 20% "Service Charge" included (which to me that's basically the tip or gratuity, however you want to call it). Then, on that bill you have the suggested gratuity amounts at the bottom (which starts at 20% of the total, including the already charged Service Charge, but excluding Tax. Tip over tip basically). And finally, when your card is charged, then you have another "suggested gratuity", which this time start at 20% of the full total, including the already charged Service Charge, and now including Tax (Tip over Tip over Tax). I wonder if this "Suggested Gratuity" practice is even legal from an accounting perspective. Again, food was great but beware of what I can only refer to as a "tipping trap".

This place has a cute decoration and a really cute presentation in the plates. We were celebrating a birthday, and they put a song and a candle in the dessert and obviously (HBD).The service is good.

This place is gorgeous! From the small touches around the room, bright paint, and interesting alcoves. Friends and I came to try some desserts and were all delightfully satisfied. I tried the green tea choux and ice cream. There were so many layers to it including like a salty cracker crumble. I also enjoyed my caramel macchiato.

Love the place and decor and love the honey toast! Had the Nutella one and pandas toast and rose latte and milo! Wow yum yum yum! It’s a full meal!! You’ll be stuffed!

All style no substance. I was looking forward to trying this place after seeing so many appetizing pictures. Spent 30 minutes waiting for our order to be taken and to get it carried out because the place was packed. When my friend and I tried our desserts, we were highly disappointed. The one I got was so bad that I couldn’t even finish it. It was a raspberry lychee cheesecake (but had the texture of a rubbery pana cotta). My friend was not impressed by his strawberry shortcake dessert either, especially for the price. And he got a stomachache afterwards. Once again, great style, no substance.
