Another great restaurant. I would have never known this place was here because the sign looked old. But the food and staff was amazing. Come check out this amazing
Enjoyed a pleasant dinner on their patio and was very impressed with their oishi toro chashu ramen! Best I've had since Japantown in SF and Tokyo (where I lived 1985-1989). Nice to have a Sapporo on draft as well. Highly recommended!
Sushi was ok, fresh and well presented. Not a lot of choice. Using to be only a sushi place but adding ramen and other noodle dishes seems to have moved their focus away from sushi.
Wow, this is an amazing place: top notch services, nice and clean place, delicious food (we ordered sushi, Sashimi and variety of Ramen noodles), plenty of smiles and friendly, and parking is plenty and easy! We really enjoy the food so much thanks to my wife taking us here today. We will be back for sure! Thanks.
A bit pricey but the customer service and the food were great. I absolutely loved the matcha beer, which was an interestingly tasty concept. The gyoza and the sushi were very good as well. Also, the atmosphere is quite lovely too. I especially enjoyed the outdoor seating with the bamboo and pond.
$30 lunch for Ramen and Sushi. Definitely worth the visit.Pros:1. Great service: very friendly staff and my food came out at a decent amount of time2. Food Presentation: beautiful, elegant, and upscale. Check out the pictures3. Pricing: very fair and worth it. Most places go overboard and charge a lot, especially the sushi. But I got a decently priced nigiri platter for high quality presentation.Cons:1. Authenticy: I give it a 7/10. It doesn't downgrade the experience, but I'm pretty sure if I bring a Native Japanese person here, he would make some comments. Otherwise, I like it and it's better than most places.2. Taste: I give it 8/10. The Nigiri may look fantastic but for a few reasons I couldn't taste the fish. It was mostly rice, little rice vinegar, and the garnishes ruined the texture and some flavor. Overall it was great, but I expect more. Ramen was average. Side dishes as well. On a Biased note, I visited many ramen shops, so my 8/10 rating stands that it is pretty good in comparison to other ramen shops.Overall: it was worth trying with friends. In this case, I was alone to try it out and recommend it to friends later. The experience is worth its value but not for its authentic "family" experience. Good job Kizuna, I will be coming back soon.
This Japanese restaurant is near in Tyson’s corner and the place is well organized and clean. Their Ramen taste so good. Chicken Kara Age, Takoyaki, Jumbo crispy soy wings and Chicken Katsu are delicious. The sushi rolls are always fresh and the house salad as well. Nice service crew.
Had a great dining experience recently here! Came for dinner Friday night—I called to make a reservation ahead of time—we got seated right away. The restaurant is fairly small—very cute with their decor and lighting is bright. The owner came around to check on guests, such a sweet friendly lady!Food wise: for appetizers, we got the Gyoza and Shrimp Tempura—they were both good. For the entree, the Chicken Katsu was so delicious!! The portion was huge too—would def recommend this dish! We tried the Rock’s Lobster Roll as well—also great with big chunks of lobster tempura inside. Food prices are reasonable as well!
Came for lunch, this location is a little hard to get to but definitely worth checking out. Reasonable prices, good quality and wide variety of food/options. (Our table ordered apps, sushi, and ramen -all delicious and fresh)
We LOVE Kizuna! It is an absolute staple of our restauranting experience. The staff is great and the food is even better! The owner Christine is what makes the experience the absolute best. My wife and I look forward to every time we get the opportunity to eat there. We always get:The sushi roll called Piggie In and OutChicken Kara-AgeTonkotsu ramen with a spice bombFor desert mochi is always a treat!
